Woman with a penis hopes to find lesbian woman with a womb (WWW) 'willing to escape the patriarchy and oppression and open her heart to a person and not just appendages'

Yet same woman with a penis (WWP)....

I know I only want to have sexual relationships with women based upon the truth that I am a woman. I am a lesbian. But, shame, I do not know if I want to have a relationship with a WWP. I feel uncomfortable about this. I want to have a relationship with a WWW.

This person is clearly conflicted but boy do I feel for my lesbian same sex attracted sisters.

The thing that made it feel like satire to me was the open hypocrisy of not wanting to date another transwoman 'lesbian' with a penis as that would make the writer uncomfortable!

Setting aside the anagram thing (which could be in earnest as lots of people use pseudonyms), I think this could be genuine - if you start queering the definition of women, of course people are going to put forward their own interpretation of what 'woman' means to them.

It's just thoroughly unfortunate that they're all playing around with a definition that's vitally important to an oppressed class of people the word was originally intended to define.

I thought it was parody because they (sighing at having to consciously adjust pronouns) hit every single talking point women who can see this crap clearly have discussed in different places.

The hypocrisy about wanting sex with women, but not penises, while expecting women to accept their penis and getting sulky that this doesn't happen. The beardy blokey presentation, but still a woman because of feelings. It just seemed a bit too extremely unself-aware.

I suspect my skepticism is rooted in desperate optimism that this kind of person doesn't really exist, but I know the sad reality is that the grotesque has become reality.

"I do appreciate that TRAs spout the same kind of bull but I don’t think they’re buying it when they do."

I used to think that. But now I have come to the conclusion that they do believe it. If you take 'gender' to the 'logical' conclusion that it is what is between your ears and not what is between your legs (to use a favourite phrase of other people, not of me!) then really anything goes.

Does anyone remember the thread about the person who was a woman presenting as a trans woman? It was not on Mumsnet.
Total confusion if it was parady or reality.

Still no idea. But people defending her right to be a female who identified as a trans woman. I do wonder if we will be going there next.

Here are 10 reasons why this is definitely a spoof:

  1. Author’s handle is samrangoon but the name is Sam Yangon - nice bit of political virtue-signalling.
  2. The author’s coinage of the WWW and WWP terms (though the complement to penis would be uterus - presumably womb sounds cuddlier).
  3. Sam mentions being dressed in sisters’ cast-offs - but dungarees are hardly stereotypically female.
  4. No body dysmorphia: “I like my body. It is a woman’s body. It has a penis”.
  5. Sam is 6’ tall, bearded with a shaved head and wears expensive suits, and passes as a woman..
  6. ... but nobody realises Sam is a woman, which makes Sam sad (but not wokily aggressive).
  7. Here is the rapier: “Even the most woke seem to impose expectations and stereotypes”.
  8. “I want to have a relationship with a WWW”.
  9. “I’m just a little too queer even for [trans people]”.
10. “I live a frightened lie”. It’s all a bit Mills-and-Boon breathless.

I expect Sam had a lot of fun writing this piece. And Bluebonic, I agree it scores highly on the Sokal scale.

On the Janiv interview with comedian thread, it’s understood that Janiv is being sent up. But if you just looked at the interviewer’s words, they sound reasonable. And with this article, if you imagine the author reading it out to camera, I think you would be hard put to think it was genuine.

Although I showed a friend the Magdalen Berns video on Alex Drummond, and friend could not believe that Alex wasn’t a parody.

Actoncurrerellis I genuinely hope you are right.

Same.

The sight of a bearded male born individual saying they like to tinker around with engines, (wearing a boiler suit iirc) and, as an afterthought, looks archly at the camera insisting that yes, women are allowed to tinker with engines too, you know.

I have been suicidal … I want help and love, not abuse and scorn
This is another tell. It's awful that anyone would put this in a parody, but if the writer is young and thoughtless and their life has never been touched by suicide they might treat it lightly. Sad Someone who genuinely suffers gender dysphoria needs a lot of help through suicidal ideation if they experience it. Not something to be tossed off in a half sentence (though possibly someone who's come through the other side might just do that). Confused
