To be fair (after Googling LC and "prison"!) I learned that they were an actress in "Orange is the New Black" so probably feels they have a role there in campaigning for trans prisoners (in the obvious TRA way of moving them all) and perhaps doesn't always think it through properly. So I'd let LC off the hook there.
They seem to have done a lot with their life.

Down sorry I didn't explain myself properly. Laverne Cox did a video appeal for a TW in prison called Synthia China Blast. Lots of woke publications covered it , failing to mention the crime that China Blast was incarcerated for, the rape and graphic and brutal murder of a young teenage girl called Ebony Nicole Williams. Feminists across the world called Cox out.

Given she now holds a position above politics, what she should have done is not guest-edited the bloody thing at all.

The problem for someone like me, a staunch monarchist, is not just Laverne Cox but also Greta Thunberg and Jacinda Adern. If the Sussexes are going to use their position to promote greeny pro-trans leftism, they might just find the traditional supporters of the monarchy (red-faced Tories like me) end up supporting the monarchy rather as Francis Urquhart did in To Play the King - pro-getting rid of troublesome individuals to save the whole.

I think it's great that a member of the royal family is using their position to advocate for feminist issues and women of colour.
