I am more convinced that there's a problem with the system in that it allows people who clearly are mentally unwell to even present themselves. This is wrong on so many levels.

JY needs stopping for sure and Self-ID should never happen, the women in this trial should never have been cross-examined by JY, but in addition, where is the safeguarding of JY in the system. It's a free for all under a Woke flag.

I watched this first on the KF thread and bloody hats off to all those sitting through this, and Elsie for transcribing. JY can't string a sentence together, is all over the shop, and never seems to get pulled up on the bullshit and tangents.

Utterly dysfunctional on all levels, or so it would appear. That the courts are encouraging this kind of farce is deeply troubling. Human rights sometimes seems to be used as a front for enabling abusers and this is an extreme case.

JYs mother is an immigrant from the sounds of it - yet JY made all those racist tweets? This sounds like a very dysfunctional relationship - why on earth doesn’t the judge assert common sense? But then when a violent rapist popped on a wig and lippy and asked to be transferred to a women’s prison, no one used common sense then either.

Even where I can work out the words I still don't understand as it's just an irrational, incoherent ramble from two people with serious mental health problems.

People like this have always existed but in the good old days they just caused an annoyance to a few neighbours. The world wide web and the woke human rights brigade are the ones facilitating these crazy, deluded people. If I were in power I'd pull the plug on all online activity and ensure that no public body ever gives them the light of day.

I reckon the abuse JY gets in RL at Tim Horton's etc is less due to being trans (although not denying that happens) and more down to behaviour. JY states in the film (and it's was on the twitter feed) that JY spends nearly 24 hrs a day with mother. Well if they behaved in public like they're behaving in the trial, they get abuse - and likely refused service - regardless of how they presented gender identities. Add in JY dressing ridiculously- which seemed to be the case pre transition as well - and you can see why there would be comments.
