Slightly off topic but what I cannot comprehend is that you do not need to dig too far to discover the disturbing side of this debate, or to spot some of the inherent flaws. Do the experts, law-makers and the supporters of blanket acceptance not use Google or Twitter? I don't get it.

I was trying talking to an old colleague about some of the issues recently. She asked for some links to read more and while compiling a list I googled non-binary. One of the results on the first page was to a forum made for and used by people who identify as non-binary. I had a quick skim read of a couple of threads and it was very apparent that the whole thing is based on adherence to stereotypes. If I can find that in 5 minutes without really trying, why can't the experts? As for the sexual and fetish and weird anime side, that's easy to see if you go on to Twitter. It's not hidden. It's really not.
