There was a thread but it went for some reason. Anyway, the safe schools alliance have launched a website. Looks good.

Excellent name OP and thanks for noting as I've been following on FB, will check out their website.

Oddly, it isn’t easy to find from google yet.

Hmmm. My name comes from the fact my current BBC complaint is now at executive committee stage....

Why was the first thread deleted?

The website looks great and, in particular, the page with template letters will be helpful for many.

Thanks OP.

When a pupil can be expelled for stating there are only 2 genders but victims of sexual assault have to share a class with the perpetrator then something is seriously wrong. Parents need to ask questions and know what is going on in schools. Children need to know about consent and boundaries not be indoctrinated with queer theory.

EeveePHD · 03/07/2019 20:57

Because it violated the talk rules of the forum. I reported it for such. No advertising.

Elletorro · 03/07/2019 21:12

This isn’t advertising its sharing information.

EeveePHD · 03/07/2019 21:15

Okay. Mumsnet thought otherwise. As long as it fits your narrative. The misinformation on that website is vile to say the least.

truthisarevolutionaryact · 03/07/2019 21:20

Advertising? Sharing information for parents and educators now is advertising?

You'd better get busy EeveePHD because Mumsnet is an absolute hive of women 'advertising' and sharing details of thousands of organisations, resources, political groups, animal charities, recipes, shops, companies etc. Take a look at Mumsnet insight on the right of your screen mentioning Sky Broadband, Nature Fruit lollies to name but a couple.

That's what this site is about - supporting women and parents by sharing information and opinions. Come back in a thousand years when you've cleared the site of advertising why don't you?

BBCBias001 · 03/07/2019 21:22

Why doesn't it come up on a google search? There is a 'safe schools' page clearly designed to divert people there instead. But I can't find by googling.

OP posts:
BBCBias001 · 03/07/2019 21:24

Now found that if you google with no spaces it comes up.

I know what this place is. A hive of transphobia and unwitting right wing supremacists. Trithisarevolutionaryact

FermatsTheorem · 03/07/2019 21:27

Your facebook page comes up for me on both google and duck duck go, but not the link above.

Though google has a bit of a Streisand effect going - lots of articles frothing about how awful you are Wink.

Elletorro · 03/07/2019 21:29

I think it’s a really valuable resource to help parents to challenge sexist policies in their schools and to ensure that safeguarding procedures are working.

Considering the 3 local authorities have decided that SSA was correct and dropped policies which breached both EA2010 and safeguarding I would definitely consider following their methods.

truthisarevolutionaryact · 03/07/2019 21:31

I've posted in SS and asked MNHQ for their reasons for deleting the thread They've been pretty good at reviewing these decisions recently and fessing up when they have acted without thinking things through.

EeveePHD · 03/07/2019 21:33

Truthisarevolutionaryact Also this is the right side of my screen. Adblock Plus is your friend.

Trithisarevolutionaryact

Trith eh?

gosh

S1naidSucks · 03/07/2019 21:34

Thank you for posting this, OP. I missed it first time around. It’s good that there are people willing to suffer abuse, in order to protect our children. It’s so important that the truth gets out, even if others like to stick their fingers in their ears and shout “transphobe” 🙄

ICJump · 03/07/2019 21:34

Thanks for sharing.

truthisarevolutionaryact · 03/07/2019 21:34

unwitting right wing supremacists

I've been accused of being some things in my time but this is a first Grin

FloralBunting · 03/07/2019 21:36

Unwitting? I thought we were all on the payroll...

S1naidSucks · 03/07/2019 21:37

Tell me about it, truthisarevolutionaryact. As a northern Irish woman, that’s a first. 🤣

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 03/07/2019 21:37

anyhow. the website looks great. the letter templates

safeschoolsallianceuk.net/resources-2/letter-templates/

look super useful

truthisarevolutionaryact · 03/07/2019 21:38

I (and many women on here) have removed my ad blocker for Mumsnet as we so appreciate a site that stands for democratic values, free speech and promotes the rights of women and safety of children. (old soft and cuddly right wing supremacists that we are) Halo

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 03/07/2019 21:38

Unwitting? I thought we were all on the payroll...

well I've been getting the cheques from Mr Putin, I thought you all had? no?
