If companies are going to insist on using mixed sex bathrooms and changing rooms, then they need to display posters warning users of hidden cameras. Maybe being forced to acknowledge the risks they are putting women in will make them re-think.

How does one start a campaign of this sort? Never thought I'd be spending my days planning how not to get filmed by perverts Angry

She wee? Some sort of signal blocker? Smoke or dry ice bomb?

In a BBC article last year about spy cams being a growing problem in women’s loos in South Korea, it said lots of women carry a small jar of vaseline to smear on the lens.

I wonder if it would be taken more seriously if everyone carried something like this:
Paint
Lift seat, quick spray round the bowl and any lens is covered 'temporarily'. I can't see facility owners being happy about any extra cleaning needed for any accidental overspray etc. but until they start enforcing single sex spaces there would be a valid excuse for using this.

Chalk spray on any areas that could contain a camera would work.

If companies have to clean it they might be more committed to regular checking. Places such as leisure centres and anywhere with mixed sex facilities should really be adding regular camera checks to their cleaning rota and training staff what to look for.

After all the one I found wasn’t hidden, it was in plain bloody sight, but cleverly innocent looking and so easy to overlook unless you were alert to them.
