It's quite hilarious- women have been responding to their tweet about menstruators, and whoever is in charge of the company twitter account keeps laughing at them, posting gifs of Taylor Swift 'Haters gonna hate" lol laughing smiley. It's quite enjoyable to watch.

The thing is, if we do what they seem to want, relabel every product, rewrite every for "people who menstruate/ have a uterus/ can get pregnant", that STILL excludes TW just more obviously! They can twist the word woman to believe it somehow applies to them if they squint hard enough, but this bonkers "menstrautor" stuff is a) insulting b) dehumanising c) actually reduces us to our biology, and d) reunite us with TM whilst 100% excluding TW and reminding them that they don't have female biology. It is literally reminding them they are excluded from the group they want to be in because of our biology. Madness!

It's a peculiar sales tactic, that's for sure!

Take entire market and decimate it to cater for the minuscule segment that care about this bullshit and focus your entire strategy on them, whilst actively, deliberately alienating the biggest, likely wealthiest, highly influential segment.
