I am SICKENED. Paedophiles have no place in the LGBT community. The fact that this is being displayed in broad day light. Equally disgusted and dismayed.

I spent the last decade working in the field of child sex abuse and understand that there are and always have been those pushing for the legalization of sex between both adults and children and adults and teenagers. I'm pretty sure Harriet Harmon got caught up in it decades ago.
But I think boy is used in the sense that people talk about 'girls night out' etc. Rather than a t shirt suggesting child sex abuse is a positive thing.

But it is still not acceptable, given the current climate of MAPs on Twitter and adding P to the LGBT alphabet soup and some of those links in the Twitter thread, to go anywhere near this sort of link. Like I say, naivete is not a good thing in this.

But none of the above are used. Yes of course boys can mean lads, and most people would happily say boys night out for lads night out.

But when specifically used with the word love following it, it is NOT a synonym for lads.

Boy Love is absolutely a phrase used within pro paedophilia groups in the US.

And this is extremely well known in the LGBT community.

Using the phrase on a t shirt is goady as fuck.

It would be like an adult men's t-shirt that has "I like jail bait" written on it.

Your post is spot on. You've said what I wanted to say but was too bloody angry to get out clearly.

Yes it's all about breaking down the boundaries, sneaking stuff in under the radar.

There was a movement in the 70s, linked with PIE, that called itself the childlove movement. Paedophiles would characterise as "boy love" or "blue love" or "girl love" or "pink love" - depending on the sex of the child they were attracted to. They campaigned for the age of consent to be abolish, that children were naturally sexual creatures, you know the lines. Quite sickening. Unfortunately, many years ago, I had reason to look this up, as the husband of one of my friend's was arrested for child sex abuse.

The childlove movement was described in it's own section on wikipedia - but I notice that this just redirects to the main "Paedophilia" section now, with no mention of "boy love" anymore - almost as if someone's trying to erase the link.

There's a concerted campaign from Minor Attracted People (which is how paedophiles have rebranded themselves) to get themselves under the LGBT banner.

And they wouldn't be able to make any headway unless certain people in key positions in LGBT organisations help them along.
