There aren’t really words to describe how sickened I am by this. In the city I’m proud to live in, in the middle of fucking Pride month, two women have been beaten up because they didn’t want to put on a show for some disgusting men.

Just read on Facebook that there have been arrests, but u can't post a link right now. It was on the Independent.

Poor women. Awful homophobic attack. Glad arrests made.

Radio 4's Six O'Clock News managed to report on this story without once using the word lesbian.

Disappointed but not surprised at the BBC in this.

So there are interesting follow ups on this one. I saw the T-shirt worn by one of the women in the interview and wondered what it was all about.

Turns out it is an ANTIFA one. A group that is pretty hands-on violent and promotes ‘punch a t**f’. Accident or statement?
