And any others under the trans umbrella. Here’s the link to the survey. www.lgbtisurvey.eu/lgbti/?campaign_id=154&utm_source=EPOA&utm_medium=orgs&utm_campaign=EPOA_orgs_INTL

I filled in the first few questions but as heterosexual bloke got to question five and was told sorry we don’t want to hear from you. Fair enough really because it’s specifically set up to listen to trans and non binary but these online things can be gamed to fuck so practically useless

KatvonHostileExtremist · 28/05/2019 22:47

That felt good. I've been harassed a lot because of my biological sex.

Being Gender Free is so liberating

LangCleg · 28/05/2019 23:02

I said that we #genderfree are crying out for initiatives to protect us for our lack of gender identities.

Thingybob · 28/05/2019 23:09

I got to the end and said how liberated I am living as my true, authentic, genderfree self.

The survey is very poorly designed (eg it allows contradictory responses) so I hope the EU haven't spent too much on it.

Angryresister · 29/05/2019 00:34

Totally twisted survey..only interested in the T. LUcky there was a big space at the end. But no doubt the non affirmative responses will be binned as per city of London.

TimeLady · 29/05/2019 06:34

Ha ha. That was fun. They said they were looking for older participants too, so I've really helped them out Wink

CuriousaboutSamphire · 29/05/2019 07:38

Well, that was erm, pshaw!

I wroe a book at the end.

plattercake · 29/05/2019 09:06

gah, what a mess of a survey. I also wrote a book about being a gender non conforming female! But said I have a sex and do not want a gender. Will not be what they wanted to hear though.

Have they EVER done a survey like this for women?

I have never seen or heard of one. Fuckers.

beenandgoneandbackagain · 29/05/2019 10:02

My final response:

As a femme presenting pansexual transman most people don't even notice I am trans until I start exhibiting male behaviour such as DIY, navigating, map reading, or wearing trousers.

CuriousaboutSamphire · 29/05/2019 10:03

Oh, I wish I had said something like that, I justranted.. hang on... Second go round?

Justhadathought · 29/05/2019 10:05

I filled in the first few questions but as heterosexual bloke got to question five

Interesting! I stated I was heterosexual too - but as a woman was allowed to proceed. I guess they are assuming that heterosexual males cannot be victims or oppressed. How did you classify your gender identity?

Justhadathought · 29/05/2019 10:06

That felt good. I've been harassed a lot because of my biological sex

Absolutely! Those questions were easy to answer and to write in more detail about.

banivani · 29/05/2019 10:09

Oooo I found this hard to answer. Will go back inspired by your answers. Was annoyed by first question ("sex assigned")

CuriousaboutSamphire · 29/05/2019 10:29

I think I was better that time... chose a totally different tack, but still told the truth. And thanked Stonewall for my new found Gender Free identity, allowing my to opt out of every day sexism Smile

ILoveMaxiBondi · 29/05/2019 10:31

That’s a joke of a survey 😂😂😂 who put that together? Awful. Results will mean fuck all won’t they.

MrsPear · 29/05/2019 10:43

Can I just point out that the survey knows nothing of UK history. When I was at school section 28 was enforced, you could be sacked for being gay and if you were beaten or raped for being gay the police just laughed and said it was your own fault for choosing a deviant lifestyle. Whoever wrote that is either a millennial or a straight older person. Completely crap.

CuriousaboutSamphire · 29/05/2019 10:46

Oh, I did give them a bit of lecture about some of that. And hoped, quite sincerely, that they wouldn't be following the example set by the City of London Smile

CuriousaboutSamphire · 29/05/2019 10:49

I suspect the results will show that LGBT people have a shit time when they meet shit people. A similar shit time to that women experience when they meet shit men - should they wish to compare and contrast.

What they won't be able to tell is if that is more, less, socialised, what kind of 'violence' etc etc etc etc - the list of what they won't know is very, very long!

nellodee · 29/05/2019 10:56

Could the trans in transgender not mean "beyond" instead of "across"? In which case, genderfree people can absolutely be transgender. We just have to misappropriate clarify the definition of the word first.

butteryellow · 29/05/2019 11:04

I wasn't allowed - apparently you have to have been living in the same place for a year before it'll let you.

CuriousaboutSamphire · 29/05/2019 11:36

nello I used the Stonewall definition and, as a woman who isn't bound by femininity I decided that means I am either Genderless or Agender... and hence properly Trans.

Trans people may describe themselves using one or more of a wide variety of terms, including (but not limited to) transgender, transsexual, gender-queer (GQ), gender-fluid, non-binary, gender-variant, crossdresser, genderless, agender, nongender, third gender, bi-gender, trans man, trans woman, trans masculine, trans feminine and neutrois

After that I didn't have to lie or smudge anything. Because, according to Stonewall, I am indeed Trans!

CassianAndor · 29/05/2019 12:22

God, what utter garbage that was.

Somerville · 29/05/2019 14:20

They didn’t define any of the terms so it is impossible to know who they want to hear from. Short of that, I too assumed the Stonewall definition of trans, which does include people who don’t have a gender, AKA genderfree.

Well done everything wading through it to fill it in.

ThisIsTheEndgame · 29/05/2019 14:33

How do I know whether I am agender or genderfree? I am an actual bisexual female but that isn't very speshul these days. Agree with MrsPear about the utter lack of knowledge of UK law.
