Offer to help Gender Critical Women

Can I just say, that if there are any GC women facing legal challenges from TRAs, I would be more than happy to chip in to a find for legal costs. I’ve donated to two or three similar things over the last year but not for a few months so am definitely on to do so again. Just if it were needed by anyone.

Indeed. There will be a few of these coming up, but one particularly case promises to be a test case. There will be crowdfunders upcoming, and it's all going to cost money. We need people to dig deep, but beyond that we also anyone with skills / experience in fundraising.

RobJessel · 29/04/2019 21:49

If anyone has experience in fundraising, please can they contact me?

GeordieGenes · 29/04/2019 21:56

It's about time british courts started protecting women and stopped facilitating transwo men. Angry
Stay strong Caro.

ZebrasAreBras · 30/04/2019 00:46

@glinner's fundraiser - he said he'd give some to women needing help. Perhaps that would be the way to go. We need to make sure it's legit.

Only too happy to contribute

Needmoresleep · 30/04/2019 04:34

One advantage of no longer wanting to donaye to mainstream charities like Children in Need or NSPCC is that I money I am happy to donate to people who speak up for me on this issue.

I wonder if one of the existing organisations: ReSisters; Fairplay for Women etc would be willing to manage a legal fund to use to help establish/resist legal precedents.

CuntAmongstThePigeons · 30/04/2019 05:39

@RobJessel I would be up for helping fundraise and I have a bit of experience doing it if that's any help. Obv happy to chip in too

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 30/04/2019 06:14

I'd consider this money well spent. I can't abide bullies.

justicewomen · 30/04/2019 07:12

I am in touch with one of the people who have lost work because of being openly gender critical. She will start a crowdfunder for her legal costs in the next few days. Happy to tell people where it is when it starts

WorkingItOutAsIGo · 30/04/2019 07:23

Thanks every one for adding your voices. I know we cannot fundraise on these boards but wanted to let anyone know who might need help that there is support out there.

justicewoman - yes, please do.

Me and DH are entirely up for diverting our ‘good cause’ budget to protecting women’s rights.
