Hayden has turned up on Caroline Fs doorstop to serve an anti harassment junction?! Is this true????

OP posts:
TheGoalIsToStayOutOfTheHole · 02/05/2019 02:45

Somebody called Hetty Spoon is tweeting the woman who started Caro's crowdfunder. Telling her to that there are far worthier causes for the money to go to, and linking to another GoFundMe page for a disabled child.

I wonder if this misogynist wanker who I see a lot on these kinds of threads ever tweets other TRAs telling them to remove their paypal links and such as there are much better causes for people to donate to. Hmm

I am fairly sure it did not cost Linehan 28k? Thought that was Steph being..well Steph?

ZebrasAreBras · 02/05/2019 03:05

I doubt it cost glinner 28k either. I would expect 28k was an estimate of the costs if it went to court - so barrister's fees for appearing on the day etc.

2BthatUnnoticed · 02/05/2019 03:31

The costs of GL were 28k unfortunately, and SH claimed “victory” since SH self-repped and had minimal costs. But “Drop hands” cost orders are not victories.

I don’t get why SH didn’t just block CF on all platforms? When I wanted nothing more to do with someone (totally different scenario- dodgy ex) that’s what I did.

It’s all very weird.

People who have been around Mumsnet longer than I have, if someone was banned from MN, eg. for trolling, would their posts be deleted too?

Asking because after a certain person was banned, I came across some posts by that person. I didn't think much of it at the time and I can't remember what the title of the thread was but it was in the Feminist Chat area.

I had never seen anything posted by that person before so I don't know if the posts were from the banned account or if they were from a different account. It was obvious from the posts and replies who was posting. The user name started "st . . " I think and maybe ended with a number.

Sorry to be so vague but I wasn't paying much attention at the time - I just clocked it and thought, "Oh - that's the banned troll-person."

The posts were made before the troll was banned.

GirlDownUnder · 02/05/2019 06:46

Mole a persons comments are not deleted on their banning, so what you saw was legit.

I believe the only time MN wipes all comments made by a poster, is if that poster requests it.

BlackeyedGruesome · 02/05/2019 13:57

High court time. Good luck.

WeepingWillowWeepingWino · 02/05/2019 14:03

Good luck caro.

AncientLights · 02/05/2019 14:25

Thinking of you Caroline. Flowers

MoleSmokes · 02/05/2019 14:33

Thanks for the clarification @GirlDownUnder - that's a relief!

KOBr · 02/05/2019 14:47

🤞for Caroline

GeordieGenes · 02/05/2019 15:34

What time is Caroline’s hearing?

GirlDownUnder · 02/05/2019 15:42

It's on now. See this thread for more info. So far just hayden talking from what I understand.

That thread is hidden GirlDownUnder

I suspect MNHQ don't want speculation whilst the court case is going on. Hope it is reopened soon.

I just got caught in the midst of trying to post what polarisation has mentioned on the other thread.

FFS. Any woman with an abusive ex can see this for what it is.

howlsmovingcastle84 · 02/05/2019 17:47

Barrister husband is fuming that Mumsnet took the threads down. High Court proceedings are completely immune from any kind of censorship regarding discussing what is happening.

SophieLMumsnet · 02/05/2019 17:47

Hi all,

Please avoid speculation - we will be removing any speculative posts and threads until the case is over.

polarisation · 02/05/2019 17:48

MN deleting anything relevant...

AnyFucker · 02/05/2019 17:48

It's in a public court, for Christ's sake

LizzieSiddal · 02/05/2019 17:49

Caro has also protected her Tweets, which is a very good idea imo.

50shadesofgreyrock · 02/05/2019 17:50

That’s what happens when you get your golfing buddy to make coded threats on your behalf. Teflon.

SophieLMumsnet · 02/05/2019 17:50

We will be reinstating the original thread once we've been over it and the case is concluded, but until then - we'll be continuing to delete speculation.

nauticant · 02/05/2019 17:50

In other words howlsmovingcastle84 the overriding approach of preventing discussion of what the fuck is going on in general is currently working out.
