I am totally on Caroline's side.

But can I please issue a very, very stern word of caution to everyone - this is a situation where someone involved is a dangerous narcissist, and will be practically ecstatic that there are many frightened women discussing them.

If you want to help Caroline, the very best course of action would be to make a simple offer to support a legal fee crowdfunder and then step away from the attention whoring from the dangerous narc.

This is extremely serious and I am asking all the brilliant women of MN FWR not to keep handing power to someone by giving them the attention that is fuelling their behaviour.

I think Caroline and I would disagree on many issues, but on this one I am right behind her and will put my money where my mouth is to support her.

Agree that we should limit any attention given to this narcissistic bully. Remember that the intention here is to get us to stop talking about things, so when relevant we should. But this persons entire criminal history is now very very public so no sense repeating what many people now know, Kiwi Farms + the name will give anyone not familiar everything they need to know.

I do think it’s time to connect all the vexatious litigation though, by my count there is definitely grounds to send a spreadsheet for the attorney general to consider.

Mind you, it’s a fantastic way to get loads of support for Caroline from mumsnetters, who famously think that knocking on your best friend’s door at 4.30 in the afternoon hoping for a cup of tea without a week’s notice is an unwarranted intrusion...

Confused by the article- Hayden didn't know the substance of the allegations or Caroline didn't. Interesting that a two way public media difference of opinion can be seen as only one being harrowing. Surely continuing to respond to the 'hundreds' of tweets sent makes this a difference of opinion as there are multiple responses? Best of luck to Caroline.

I can't add anything useful and I only came across this story because of the legal issue with MN and a few things on Twitter. It did strike me as a real case of narcissistic bullying and control just from the little I knew. I would be happy to donate a little to a crowdfunder. It's quite astonishing.

And huge support to Ms Farrow. I don't agree with her religious views & the social conservatism that stems from them, but she's clear, fair, and speaks without malice in defence of children.

She has been harassed and abused - she's been subject to classic DARVO.

I agree. I do wish her views on gender issues cane from a different place though. Obviously I support her- but it’s difficult to separate the two.

I love the way the Telegraph says "Stephanie Hayden, a commentator and activist who is legally female" with the obvious subtext of "Yeah, we don't believe that either but there you go".
