In case it's not clear, I am at the reporting not poor Annabelle who was no doubt pushed or thrown.

I feel really helpless when I read stuff like this. I saw NZ media refer to domestic abuse as an ‘off field incident’, as the guy played rugby.
My Dad was never held responsible for my stepmothers suicide, brought on by hideous horrible abuse. He isolated her completely on their remote farm for at least 7 months. I just cannot stand women dying like this.

This is a similar case where a young woman, Jourdain John-Baptiste fell from a balcony with her partner present that the CPS wouldn't prosecute which is being challenged by Jourdain's mother, and the brilliant Centre for Women's Justice. There was a hearing last week and arguments were put for the decision not to prosecute to be reconsidered. A ruling will be made at a later date.

Fucking awful my abusive ex held me over the railing of our 12th floor balcony...I will never forget the fear I felt, I'm terrified of heights now. RIP Annabelle I hope the fucker that done this gets a lengthy sentence...but I doubt it

TangyToms oh my god, I am so sorry. That must of been terrifying. I hope you’re okay now. I have bad anxiety and claustrophobia from my fathers horrible tempers, I can’t imagine what you went through. So sorry

My cousin was murdered by her partner, who then killed himself. No justice.
