Hi I'm a long time lurker, who read with disgust the last thread and wants to send Thanks, to caro. I've scanned since last thread finished for new one but no luck! Hope no one minds if I start one!

BettyFloop · 06/04/2019 00:29

No JustAnother, we mustn't and we won't.

Our daughters and our granddaughters are relying on us.

boatyardblues · 06/04/2019 09:37

Late to these threads, but I hope the Police wake up soon & take action about the appalling threats and abuse you and your family are subject to. It is completely unacceptable.

EweSurname · 06/04/2019 10:13

It seems to have escalated, with someone sending in a referral to nspcc pretending to be Caroline concerned about her husband.

It’s despicable. Flowers to you Caro

JessicaWakefieldSVH · 06/04/2019 10:30

Oh god, I hope the police do something Flowers

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 06/04/2019 11:19

They will do nothing until... well a man gets hurt that’s about the size of it.

But the people doing this are known? The police know this coven that obviously have too much time on their hands and don’t have a proper job or family/friends? Why are their names not splashes over the Newspapers? If one was a colleague or neighbour of mine I’d want to know.

Carowiththegoodhair · 06/04/2019 12:12

I just had an extremely nice PC round here doing a welfare check following a malicious report of child abuse made against my husband made in my name.

The detail given was creepy and I am concerned that the originator could be projecting.

More sunlight please.

KOBr · 06/04/2019 12:17

Just seen your post on twitter about that Caro. I so admire your strength and stance by not giving in to them. These people are infiltrating our schools, safe spaces, NHS, police etc. This must be put out into the sunlight. Dangerous, sick people.

Ineedacupofteadesperately · 06/04/2019 12:19

how frightening, but surely, surely the police have to do some investigating of the malicious complainant now or they're complicit in harassment?

AbsintheFriends · 06/04/2019 12:28

Am beyond horrified by the latest development Caro, but slightly heartened that you say the PC was extremely nice.

Is this the point at which the devil has really overplayed his hand? Will the police now begin to realise the level of harassment you're being subjected to, and understand how deeply sinister it is?

Datun · 06/04/2019 12:34

Stupid, stupid people. If the police officer hasn't taken that complaint seriously, it's because they have been shown that it's spurious.

If they have been shown that, they have been convinced.

If they have been convinced, it's because the evidence is overwhelming and irrefutable.

Stupid people, allowing the police to see overwhelming and irrefutable evidence of their harassment.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 06/04/2019 13:01

I hope the ‘nice PC’ was given the full history and facts and looks into wasting police time and malicious communications.

Wasting police and a children’s charity time.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 06/04/2019 17:04

I see someone is having a wee twitter tantrum.

Delusions of grandeur, a total irrelevance 🙉🙊

TinselAngel · 06/04/2019 17:42

What's a "legal rights activist"? Grin

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 06/04/2019 17:58

What's a "legal rights activist"?

Presumably a cut above an illegal rights activist. Grin

AnotherBewilderedQuoll · 06/04/2019 18:03

A 'lawyer' but not actually a solicitor. Never mind. Maybe, with a lot of hard work and study, they could have a career as a barista.

JessicaWakefieldSVH · 06/04/2019 18:36

Yeah the one who said in a statement back before they dropped the case against Glinner that they were not registered with any professional bodies as they’re not required to be as not undertaking reserved activities... but then claimed I was ‘defaming’ them by saying ‘pretend lawyer’ and also claimed they were registered and overseen by a professional body. It’s the problem when you lie and make up entire identities, accuse everyone that speaks of defaming... you cannot keep up with your own fairytales.

sackrifice · 06/04/2019 18:42

Barista. Lol.

AncientLights · 06/04/2019 18:42

Quite, JessicaWakefield.

'Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practise to deceive'.

Some people are nowhere near as clever as they think they are.

JessicaWakefieldSVH · 06/04/2019 18:49

I mean, how many different names now? I wouldn’t be able to remember when I was which person if I had been through so many different names...

AnyFucker · 06/04/2019 18:54

Caroline I admire you very much

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 06/04/2019 19:16

registered and overseen by a professional body

Ah, but did they state it was a legal professional body?... Could have been this if they are training for the barista sca.coffee

JessicaWakefieldSVH · 06/04/2019 19:18

Grin he he

RedToothBrush · 06/04/2019 19:35

I see someone is having a wee twitter tantrum.

Na. Just after attention.

It's funny. I marvel at someone thinking they know loads about defamation and libel in the press and social media going after an organisation run by Justin Roberts (who talked about regulation of blogging six years ago) and is married to the former deputy editor of the guardian, editor of newsnight, and programme director of c4.

I would imagine that Justine has had more than a few conversations about media law, media ethics and how the two work in practice as well as principle over dinner.
