I think pombear has probably nailed it.

I can’t have any sympathy with them though as frankly they’re a danger to themselves and others. The university need to deal with them.

They did at least stop them flying the trans flag recently, but there’s still a long way to go.

It’s the sheer arrogance that frustrates me - they’re right and every civilisation and species from the start of time is wrong. How on earth can you believe that you are that special?

The thing that confuses me about post modern gender theory is that it rejects sex classification; (I don’t agree, but can follow the logic that classifications can be socially constructed) but then embraces gender classifications based on sex.

Why randomly classify anyone? Why segregate humans unnecessarily? Why believe in gender if you don’t believe in sex?

I think it’s all about power and control. Because biological sex is apparent to all: how much more attractive to prioritise gender- which is completely in your own mind and unknowable to anyone else.

I've either been blocked by everyone who responded to me or there's some serious glitch - I suspect they've been forced to block me by their inability to respond to my points.
There was a couple of 'if I don't get surgery I'll kill myself' type comments, so I left it there - I don't think these kids are strong enough mentally to cope with the depth of discussion needed.

The Women's Officer who wrote this misogynistic horseshit got elected as NUS Vice-President for Higher Education for 2019/20 this week. So that's another traditional ally for women down the toilet.

2. “Do the labour” to enable transwomen to get what they want.

Well I shall be interested to see how they handle the stress of being at the helm of a nearly bankrupt organisation.

So daft, colonialism didn't impose the sexual binary on so called primitive societies, we just tended to encourage men to cover themselves with trousers and women to cover themselves with dresses, because we were a bit prudish and used to colder weather, we didn't invent biology!

I made the mistake of revisiting that thread and clicking on the timeline of a supporter of the t*rf guide.

Multiple photo of blind gagged and assualted women. Art that they'd created depicting rape. Openly saying "I can be a woman when I want to be". I need go go bleach my eyes. I just can't believe the woman's officer who wrote the guide doesn't look at who's supporting her.

Because if she did, she'd be horrified. You literally can't make this shit up.
