Sexist autocorrect test replies please.

As I type, normally, on my iPad, the word Male will automatically correct to be capitalised, but female won't!

Could i ask for replies with both the words 'Male' and 'female' in them? Obviously don't start a sentence with them. I want to see if it's just my own treacherous sexist tablet, or a bigger thing.

I've fixed it. I just selected the non capitalised Male ...... shit. It's gone back.

Female, I've typed Female with a capital F so many times that my iPad automatically uses a capital male does not automatically have a capital.

My iPad used to put a capital on male but because I kept changing it back it doesn't do it any more, male Female

As an aside, my hisband’s name is an unusual name but also a unit of measurement (there are several units of measurement that could be male names!) but in spite of me typing his name with a capital every time I do it, it never assumes I want a capital letter on his name. I think autocorrect is often a law unto itself.

My phone capitalises the word hill. I assumed it was because I have a contact saved whose name is xxx Hilland have typed it in that context with a capital.

It doesn't autocorrect but on my keyboard options I can choose to click on male / Male or / make.

I am as feminist as they come (honestly, I am here in Male in the aeroplane I overcame the patriarchy to fly here in a job still perceived as male,) but even I can see that Dick and Male can be proper nouns but female can’t. This one is not worth the outrage or a battle.
