Oh Bowl you are so out of date hun!
2003 is the date, 2003 didn't you hear the sainted RM sy that 2003
Of course it helps to lknow that the IOC guidelines of 2003, meant that all trans athletes were required to have reassignment surgery followed by at least two years of hormone therapy.
But that wouldn't fit RMs tale of TWAWandalwayshavebeen would it? RM doesn't want any listener to know that or that the most recent change, 2015, means that surgery will no longer be required at all!
Now female-to-male transgender athletes are eligible to take part in men’s competitions “without restriction”, whatever good that will do them. But I suspect male-to-female transgender athletes will say this sin't fair, why can't they have the same rights?
Cos the poor old male-to-female transgender athletes will need to demonstrate that their testosterone level has been below whatver made up level is in place at the time. That's an additional barier to competioton that none else has (well, no, but, oh never mind).
You know, real women have testosterones ranging from 0.3 to 3 nanomols per litre, so of course male to female wannabes athletes can have 10, oh no, that is too high, let's make it 5 nanomols per litre to be fair on them!
There you go! All up to date [patronising smile accompanied by a pat on the head, darling!]
