could someone bring me up to speed? Last I saw he was merrily tweeting and being talked about here.

Words fail me, they really do. Why can't people see what this is?

I can't believe they turned up on her doorstep. How deranged. Have they never heard of courier to deliver court papers? Oh no, instead a load of unhinged tweets from the Dr about coming in to land, 10 mins to go, tick tock etc - and then Hayden's at her door They've completely lost it - drunk on their own sense of power over a woman who defies them.

I found him very chilling and certainly not the sort of person I'd want to see in any caring profession.

If you are reading Mr Harrop and want to know why you leave me feeling like that, it is down to your black and white thinking, the forcefulness with which you deliver your opinions and the way you present them as absolute truths not to be disagreed with. You are very intimidating (and I'm not even in the same room) and I would certainly never be brave enough IRL to disagree with anything you say or stand up to you in any way.

Mind you, even if you read the above I am sure you will dismiss my thoughts as;

"How dare you"
"I am not intimidating"
"You (Thingybob) are wrong! "

It is absolutely fucking insane.

I think the point is that it is incoherent to do this. And yes you can get quite far issuing legal claims and so on. It upsets people even if you don’t pursue the claim fully. But it is also a flaw.

They want endless attention. They may not win. Who cares, a win can be anything they say it is on social media. They build costs in maintaining circular, mad arguments that go nowhere, and intermittently offering to settle matters and then changing the terms.

The game to beat them is simple. Do not play the game. Take the ball. Wait. Wait some more. Patience is your friend. Steely, lethal patience.

Yes I know she did but she is one very brave, clear thinking, tough cookie.

The majority of us wouldn't stand a chance against Mr Harrop. He even left the interviewer on the podcast a giggling, awkward mess. I hate to think how his overbearing, steamroller behaviour would leave a vulnerable patient.

I hate the idea of admitting they're frightening and giving them some sort of weird kick from that but fact is, they are. Not because they're impressive, smart or focused - they're not any of these things - but because they're relentlessly threatening. This isn't just about defending their position, this is wickedly toxic obsession. Teaching an opinionated woman a lesson.

They give me the creeps. Big time. Pretty sure they must be giving people in their own social circle the creeps now too, even if they won't dare admit it.

Oh god. Just made the mistake of looking at that blog. Some of them are planning to turn up at the court.

I hope some London-based supporters of Caro will go to the High Court for 2pm on Thursday to hear this farce.

Absolutely terrifying.

This is so horrible. What a vile pair. I’m off Twitter as I just couldn’t stand the raving, relentless misogyny and the arguing that black was white and men were women and so on. But I’ve kept up with this because I’m just appalled. One man, a doctor, and another person of a seriously unsavoury nature, hounding a woman who disagrees. It’s gone beyond batshit, it’s now at a stage where you can see the behaviour escalating. And so gleeful and no hint of remorse. These two are scary fuckers and I think we’re all aware where this pattern of behaviour can end.

Caro fucking hell love. I hope you are somehow managing to be ok, and stay safe, and look after your kids. We support you and we will help. Just say the word if you need funds, women to surround you at court, anything. Sending anything you need. Most of all sending solidarity and support.

I read the article. Nice turn of phrase; Ms Hayden is legally female.

I'm trying to get my head around what's going on and would appreciate anyone clarifying the following...

Is it usual for a civil harassment order to go to to a high court, I would have expected a county court?

Does high court mean high levels of damages are being claimed?

Is there a public gallery in a high court?

Does Caroline want supporters on Thursday, I'm miles from London but would get there if she wants it?

That blog is vile.

It is Caroline F "and others" and when the blog loads a weird banner flashes up too fast to really read. Searching the names I managed to spot: Julia and Benjamin, brings up bile on a couple of other people. Does it help that Caroline is not the only one getting this treatment?

Seriously deranged. I have a vague memory of Wordpress declining to host some feminist bloggers last year. Yet hosts this. Nothing really makes sense.
