Peaked over periods

Well ladies I’ve finally peaked to peak all peaks.

I’ve been lurking for some time, following threads here, Reddit, twitter etc.

I was quite liberal about these issues for a long while - it seemed the liberal thing to do, ‘live and let live’ and all that.

I think my first query was Jenner winning woman of the year, which seemed... typical I suppose.

Since then, it feels like an ever-escalating series of events. But I digress.

I’ve been reliably (!) informed that Transwomen get periods (minus bleeding). They get breast tenderness, moodswings and cramps apparently. Every month without fail.

This cannot, cannot possibly be right? Are periods the next battleground?

Minions - a friend had a total hysterectomy after years of endo and is really happy on patches. Says it is the best thing she has done and no one is taking the patches off her. No pms there. Grin

@PRoseLegend oh yes it's totally different.

They have a male cycle. The fuck load of hormones will exaggerate it. There's nothing female about it.

If you're not shedding your uterine lining, you're not having a period.

If any woman of menstruating age got cramps, mood swings, bloating, whatever you like, around the time she was expecting her period but she didn't bleed, she'd be going out to buy a pregnancy test because she missed her period.

If a woman bled but experienced no other symptoms, she'd have no concerns whatsoever.
