These are the sorts of children Mermaids et al want to 'help'. Confused children living in care who believe they are actually boys, and then men like Andrew Castles are there to drug and rape them.

I am not sure, in a way, if the victim's gender identity makes a difference to the story, save that it would seem that being a gay man has meaning in terms of lifestyle, anatomy, etc., and clearly a 14-year-old biological female is in no way equipped for any of that.

Good grief this is absolutely right. I knew both those things in isolation but have somehow never put them together. That is a really interesting observation.

GHB is a known date rape drug, and as someone else already pointed out there are very fine margins between safe recreational use and complete unconsciousness (or worse), not that this matters anyway because the victim was a child and that's it. They cannot consent, and they especially cannot consent when messed up by GHB.
