I think this may be part of it. I also think the position is so entrenched and deviation of any kind from the accepted ideology gets so much abuse that they end up defending the indefensible. IW has received some nasty comments for speaking out on the sport issue.

Homophobia appears to have come de rigueur. Especially with organisations who still claim to represent homosexuals.

The world needs to see this happening. That homosexuals are automatically transphobic.

It only seems to apply to the L though, funny that. Or is there a cotton ceiling equivalent for gay men?
