Can only see Mail on Sunday on sky news app which is all about Corbyn and his ex wives. And a blanked out bit. Above it says a story has been withheld.

Already a thread about this

tobee · 10/02/2019 04:15

Thanks seen that now. Smile

MissLanesAmericanCousin · 10/02/2019 04:39

Justagirlwholovesaboy, can you please tell me where is the thread? I can only find this one. Thanks! Smile

Justagirlwholovesaboy · 10/02/2019 04:46

@MissLanesAmericanCousin sure your can find it on your own as a feminist or do you need signposts?

HappyEverIftar · 10/02/2019 04:47

Bit unkind there Justsgirl the story isn't immediately obvious to me either.

Justagirlwholovesaboy · 10/02/2019 04:50

Oh well, never mind

Justagirlwholovesaboy · 10/02/2019 04:59

TheCatsServant

Apparently a woman spent 8 hours in a cell/being interviewed by the police for a "transphobic" Tweet along the lines of TWAW. Can't bring myself to buy the Mail tomorrow to check the details, but it may be taken up by other papers.

MissLanesAmericanCousin · 10/02/2019 05:04

Yikes! Are you always this mean? Justagirlwholovesaboy

AliyyaJann · 10/02/2019 05:08

"Find it on your own as a feminist"

Hope you're not a man

Needmoresleep · 10/02/2019 05:36

flowers to Kate, and to the Mail as well.

I wonder if the lawyer will take them on. They presumably don't think so, or are prepared to fight if they do. Interesting that Sky chose to report but not show the article.

boatyardblues · 10/02/2019 07:18

A classic case of the Streisand Effect.

ginpink · 10/02/2019 07:35

@Justagirlwholovesaboy god don't you sound like a peach. Why so mean!

DisrespectfulAdultFemale · 10/02/2019 07:44

Horrifying. I hope the article transpeaks more people.

Funkyfunkybeat12 · 10/02/2019 07:48

This is a person who has convictions for indecent exposure, theft, fraud and hitting someone over the head with a golf club. I don’t condone online harassment but this person is clearly a vexatious litigant and has a troubled history with the criminal law. The police need to take a hard line. Just because someone reports something does NOT mean they need to investigate. All they had to do was look at the tweets and advise the complainant to block the woman in question and get on with their life.

Saltovinegar · 10/02/2019 07:50

I think they should allow comments, I can imagine what they'd be like but why is one obviously malicious person i.e. the fake lawyer allowed to dictate what we can and cannot say.

Melanippe · 10/02/2019 07:55

Just because someone reports something does NOT mean they need to investigate.

Well, the police certainly seem to feel this way about serious crimes like rape, but type some words that someone doesn't like and you get to sit in your own blood for hours while your children suffer.

The alleged victim is not amused by the piece.

MsTSwift · 10/02/2019 07:55

So odd when proper minor crimes committed and police not interested yet all over nonsense like this? My sister and her friends had hundreds stolen by bogus letting agent police not the slightest bit interested

deepwatersolo · 11/02/2019 15:44

So. How can you be arrested for using words according to their defined meanings?
