Moon and Me.

One female character, who happens to be a tiny little dolly? Give me a break.

Upsy Daisy the token female was bad enough on Night Garden but this is a total joke!

It's 2019 for fuck's sake, can we not just have 50/50 male and female characters for our toddler's bedtime TV shows? Would it really be so hard for the writers to do that?

Feel like I want to actually complain to the BBC Angry

Why does this thread repeatedly attract such trolly vitriol?

First of all, there’s more than one female character? Colly Wobble is a female, Pepi Nana is a female, Little Nana is a female, and Lily Plant is a female. Better yet the ‘moon’ (narrator) is FEMALE. I myself am female but Jesus Christ what is it with everyone these days getting butt hurt about PUPPETS in a child’s programme.

Only came across this post when searching for Moon And Me toys.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but you’ve missed 3 characters. Lily Plant, Collywobble and Little Nana are all female too. I would even argue Lambkin is too judging by the pitch of the bleats. This leaves the balance at 4/5 Female : 4/ 3 Male.
Pretty well balanced.
