Porn culture and the rise in anaesthetics for women's orifices

Sorry to be crude. But nowadays you can buy a whole range of anaesthetic creams, gels and sprays so that you don't feel the Osijek of being gang banged or fisted or fucked hard analog or gag when you've had a cock shoved down your throat.

Tell me again how porn is liberating

OrchidInTheSun · 02/02/2019 00:48

Osijek? Is that even a word? PAIN. And anally. And god I wish I weren't typing that again

OP posts:
Smallhorse · 02/02/2019 01:23

Bloody hell. That is horrid

Iused2BanOptimist · 02/02/2019 07:54

Ha. I was about to google Osijek Grin

I saw this thread on twitter. Beyond shocked. The fact that there is this range of products and a market suggest how widespread the demand is. It's sickening and so worrying for our daughters.

IStillMissBlockbuster · 02/02/2019 08:00

That is horrendous. Why don't men want women to enjoy sex?!

ItWentInMyEye · 02/02/2019 08:11

Fucking hell.

FlyingOink · 02/02/2019 08:13

IStillMissBlockbuster
I have a theory.
Men's pride on sexual achievement has gone from: "yay I managed to have sex", to "yay I managed to satisfy her and be a good lover (so I can get more sex, either with her or someone else)" to "I don't believe in orgasms any more because they fake them in porn" to "I don't believe in pain or discomfort any more because look what the porn girls can do" to "I can't come unless it's prolapse/snuff/rape porn and even then I spend hours edging, I can never have normal sex again".
The use of porn is overwhelming. It literally bombards the senses with novelty. It's why death grip is a thing, and ED in healthy young men. How can any woman compete with millions of shapeshifting images, any face, any race, any age, any size, any act, any time, and all for FREE?
Add that to the current fashion for impermanent quasi-relationships, no stigma whatsoever for abandoning your kids and a hook-up culture that means someone, somewhere online will have sex with you even if it's not who you would have chosen normally.
If you're sharp-eyed you'll have noticed that even the start of the journey was focussed on self. The alternative to selfish sex (alone or with an unfortunate partner) is intimacy, and intimacy is scary, unreliable and not easily available.
Just my 2p

AngryAttackKittens · 02/02/2019 08:16

I remember the days when men boasted about giving women orgasms. I'm glad not to be a teenager now.

zippey · 02/02/2019 08:19

Its a sex aid to delay premature ejaculation. Looking at the reviews it looks like people have been buying it to relieve tatoo pain.

Toffeeandcoffee · 02/02/2019 08:20

Just vile. It's like things have gone back 100 years, lie back and think of England 'cos it's all about the guy getting his rocks off.
I worry for my DD and women everywhere. What I would have classed extreme (anal, fisting etc) when I was a teenager in the 90s is now seen as normal and mainstream. There is a whole generation being influenced by online porn who seem to think that it's normal to hurt women during sex.
Just disgusting.

Oxytocindeficient · 02/02/2019 08:22

God that is horrific. Anyone who defends porn needs to have a good look at themselves

AntlerFlames · 02/02/2019 08:24

Umm. These are made for men. To numb the penis to help aid premature ejaculation.

AntlerFlames · 02/02/2019 08:25

They're also used a lot by gay men for anal sex

FlyingOink · 02/02/2019 08:26

That's two posters who haven't read the attached thread then

FlyingOink · 02/02/2019 08:28

Why do gay men need to numb their anus when their g-spot is up there? Coercive sex? Multiple partners? Chemsex?
Not for regular use.
And this is not "delay cream" when it's sold to allow easier fisting and to suppress gagging...

Almahart · 02/02/2019 08:30

Bloody hell

SonicVersusGynaephobia · 02/02/2019 08:31

Its a sex aid to delay premature ejaculation.

No it's not. How does being fisted cause premature ejaculation?

These are to numb the recipient of painful abuse.

zippey · 02/02/2019 08:41

A lot of these activities are performed by both men and women. If they choose to have S&M or anal sex or give blow jobs then we can t police the bedroom. It’s freedom of choice, and that includes to buy these products. People will experiment. Some of the activities make me feel nauseous but everyone is different and should have the freedom to enjoy what they enjoy.

AngryAttackKittens · 02/02/2019 08:43

If the receptive partner were enjoying it they wouldn't need the numbing cream...

SD1978 · 02/02/2019 08:43

But surely this can also be sold to men, who are into anal play and sex? It's not just women who may feel they need anal numbing before sexual contact. This is wrong full stop. And numbing spray for your throat should only be used because you have tonsillitis and swallowing hurts.

TheQueef · 02/02/2019 08:45

The day I need anaesthetic for sex is when I give up.

It's not sex it's abuse.

OrchidInTheSun · 02/02/2019 08:45

If women are enjoying pain, they don't need anaesthetic do they?

OP posts:
FlyingOink · 02/02/2019 08:46

zippey
Disingenuous argument. They might be useful for cleaning crayon off emulsion too but that's not the use that is being discussed.
I'm exercising my freedom of choice to discuss trends in sexual behaviour driven by free and easily available hardcore porn, and how that feeds into coercive interpersonal relationships between men and women. Some of the conversation may make you feel nauseous but everyone is different, right?

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 02/02/2019 08:47

so fucking grim

what the fuck happened to mutual pleasure?

OrchidInTheSun · 02/02/2019 08:48

And this is how John Broadhurst convinced a jury that Natalie Connolly really wanted him to put a trigger spray bottle in her vagina.

OP posts:
AngryAttackKittens · 02/02/2019 08:51

If someone reads "deep throat spray" and insists that the product in questions is designed to help gay men have anal sex then one has to question how honestly they're being, either with themselves or with others.
