Wow. What a week for the so-called "gender critical" movement!

PP and JL are members of the public who asked a political lobbyist who happened to be in a publicly accessible building for their views on policy that lobbyist is trying to push through. Policy that is damaging for women and their children. In what world is what they did wrong? If members of the public can't ask questions directly to those with power who seek to change or demolish women's rights then that is a BIG problem. Frankly I am disgusted by the lack of loyalty and willingness to nodding dog along with those criticising what they did. Fine if you don't like it but don't join in with the TRA ffs!

Right wing and left women say something is an issue. Could this be

A. Time for the left wing woman to recant because the right is evil ?

Or

B. A wide ranging issue that impacts all women regardless of political bent?

Hmm. I’ll go for b.

Left women women are women
Right wing women are women
Atheist women are women
Religious women are women
Men are not women.

This issue affects all women. Expect all women to be interested in it.

Increasingly, the terms 'left wing' and 'right wing' are becoming irrelevant. You can have 'liberal' conservatives, and very illiberal socialists. Capitalism v state? The main political divide nowadays - not well represented by political parties in the US or U.K. in our 2 party systems - is nationalist or globalist.

None of these have any bearing on whether women, and their specific needs, are defined by our biology or some other (undefinable) attribute.

Right wing and left women say something is an issue

They are absolutely terrified that women will put our class interests as women above our political allegiances, because if we did that consistently male hegemony would be in serious trouble.

Just imagine if women all over the world worked together.

Clearly, some people are imagining it and don’t like the idea :)

Hence all the threads telling us posie is a terrible person and we are all right wing bigots.

Sorry chaps. Still not shutting up :) still explaining the issues to everyone around me. Still working together with other women.
