Previously:
Posie is bad, bad and bad.
Sodastream's are under whelming
We need to be nice for the bigger boys to like us.
Camp Coffee is revolting
Evidence is never presented for why our leader and saviour is bad.
Mr frosty is crap, all agree
TimeLady's mum made a camp Coffee cake back in the day.
Also a coffee kisses recipe is found.
The alt-right are mentioned a lot.
Paul McCartney gets a mention
So does Terry Pratchett's discworld.
Mr Fruity is remembered and discussed.
Nazi's were mention by early.
We were told we "need a common enemy"
(Why we need this is presently unknown.)

And now the exciting conclusion....

I have seen no evidence that the British left are capable of thought so this is not news.

Did we ever find out why people holding different opinions were wrong and should be silenced?

I think your saying it wrong captain

I think it should be more

Did we Ever Find Out Why...

And then maybe look a bit musey...

Chicory first appeared as a substitute for coffee in France, when Napoleon imposed a coffee blockade against the British, leaving the whole of Europe without coffee … the bounder! Imagine, no coffee. If that were to happen today, the world would surely grind to a halt....

As previously mentioned, chicory has been used for centuries for its health benefits.

The root contains anti-parasitic properties. It also has a high insulin content. The prebiotic soluble carbohydrate the herb contains can be beneficial for your intestinal health and can help with weight loss. Chicory can also help to reduce cholesterol.

Much of the insulin content of chicory is converted to sugar during the roasting process, thus mellowing the flavor of the finished grounds. However, chicory root can still help to lower blood sugar and help stabilize diabetes.

It's a miracle - a new superfood - I now see opportunities in Brexit - corner the coffee substitute market - bring back that British Bulldog spirit there was a great and genuine community of spirit in wartime Britain which often transcended class and other barriers - oh wait many are already there with austerity.....

But still good business opportunity ....

I suspect the sale of Camp Coffee are going to increase.
My work here is done.

Can't we just have tea instead?

TinselAngel · 27/01/2019 19:27

Sorry I've been busy on the Dancing on Ice thread, but isn't coffee just as vegan as chicory?

womanformallyknownaswoman · 27/01/2019 19:29

this is why we dont ask vegans for advice about pudding or baking.

Captainkirkspookyghost
Vegan baking = trans baking.

A nation who will accept vegan cheesecake and brownies are vulnerable

Maybe this is the breakthrough we've been waiting for - something around which all sides can agree - the common ground....

boom boom

FlyingOink · 27/01/2019 19:30

That's just racist against vegans

FlyingOink · 27/01/2019 19:31

I had steak and chips though so leave me out of it

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 27/01/2019 19:32

I agree flying

Ive had some lovely vegan food

lisamuggeridge · 27/01/2019 19:33

I had a vegan lemon cheesecake in Brighton, it was provocation. Really. I had to swallow it and I paid 2.99 for it and then they gave me goats milk for my tea. You are minimising dynamics between groups in pursuit of false coherence and therefore you should be excommunicated.

womanformallyknownaswoman · 27/01/2019 19:35

but isn't coffee just as vegan as chicory?

Depends on excluding all forms of who/what may have been exploited in the growing /processing for maximum woke points - but the same could apply to chicory.....

Bubonicpanic · 27/01/2019 19:35

Did you watch any of the meeting you are here whining about Earlywalker?

They are talking right now about this left right issue. The left hasn't done anything to help or listen, they are being awful. Fuck them. Thats not productive.

You might have learned something.

Meghan has just put it beautifully - I paraphrase:

"I'm not going to become anti-abortion or anything like that, but I am willing to discuss this with anyone who wants to talk".

Brava.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 27/01/2019 19:37

My friend made me this aubergine mush stuff

It was foul

And i had to eat it all without chewing it

She was trying to be helpful and make me vegetarian food...fuck knows what she did do it

And i had to pretend i liked it and then i could never go round to hers for tea again in case she made it again

People shouldn't lie...thats what im taking from that

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 27/01/2019 19:37

Sorry

Gonna read what toe and bubonic post

ToeToToe · 27/01/2019 19:39

And yes, the bloody left have let women down badly. Really badly.

It has really opened my eyes to the misogyny that many left-wing men harbour. Trans ideology has allowed them to unleash it against women who won't do as they're told.

Oxytocindeficient · 27/01/2019 19:39

I’m vegan, we drink coffee and it’s nothing to do with woke points

Oxytocindeficient · 27/01/2019 19:40

It has really opened my eyes to the misogyny that many left-wing men harbour

Yup, never seen it before the trans issues but it’s a real eye-opener.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 27/01/2019 19:45

oxy

It was cologne for me

lisamuggeridge · 27/01/2019 19:47

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer

I went on a walk on the tops with a friend of mine and she said she had stew on the stove when we got in, I lived for te thought of stew when we got home. We got there. Oh god. Vegan. Runny water that smelled slightly of wee but looked kind of like gravy and big spongy white cubes., I said what kind of stew is it, she said tofu with vegetable gravy. I could have cried, I ate it. I ate it all, but I really want t ocry thinking about it even now.

FlyingOink · 27/01/2019 19:47

Ive had some lovely vegan food
I haven't. But people can eat what they like. I don't like being preached at for eating meat, that's a bit off-putting

FlyingOink · 27/01/2019 19:48

lisamuggeridge but that's Brighton for you
