The police used to withhold intelligence because of fear of what the far right would do, and indifference to those girls outside it. That indifference is not solved by handing them to Tommy Robinsons thugs, and am never going to pretend that abusive white men wanting to harm rape victims and use them, is politics. Its not. Its what happens when poluitics and the rule of law fail.

It was definitely NOT posie parker who made this issue into a far right issue. I can get you the statements of the Labour politicians who did that deliberately to avoid discussion of system failure on their watch. In the middle of it, were actual girls. Who as far as I can see never made it out of being objects in other peoples identity to be abused and stoill have to deal with far right exploitation and widescale institutional neglect.

It’s again, that people are playing men’s political games, left=good right=bad and the two should never meet or discuss anything at all. This is why our society is a mess, well part of it. I don’t want anything to do with the left-right politics men created.

Making allies with some right-wing groups is what happens when more muscle needs to be brought in to expel the out of control, aggressive, male bullies who have been continually stalking and harassing a woman/ women in a pub for example - you dial a male friend / get your bro and his mates - cos the bullies are of control. It's not a lifetime partnership just a recognition that out of control aggressive men need other men to contain their excesses.

I disagree completely. I wouldn't frame it as calling in the heavies at all, and I think that's what Early thinks anyway. That we've allied with Nazis because they're scary.

But that doesn't work with their target demographic. Telling fundies that lesbians and feminists agree with them isn't validating them. It doesn't deepen or broaden their support. Nobody is going to be swayed by it.

I find that the world is much happier when you don’t ask people about their religious beliefs/ football team/ opinions on politics. Call me stupid, but these have always kept the world a lot happier for me.
