I said I would only post one thing on this board. I kept that promise.

But this is the pits right here. Posie Parker is seeking funding and making deals with white supremacist, crypto fascists, misogynists, homophobes and racists. How does this not show you what your movement is and has always been?

You need to look at yourselves. If your response is anything other than total rejection of posie Parker and all the groups she is involving herself with, then you are just as bad. If you think that trans people/‘trans activists’ are worse than Tommy Robinson, ultra trump supporters and others who spew far right views then you are a racist, sexist, homophobic nightmare. Those labels equally describe what a person is as well as what a person does.

“But what about TRA’s?” Some of you will want to scream at me.

You don’t see Paris Lees going off to get funding from literal fascists. Hell, Caitlin Jenner votes for trump and the global trans community has never and will never forgive her. And either way, none of what “they” do will magically make it okay to go suck up to people that think gay people should be sterilised or that Muslim’s are evil.

Transphobia is revolting. It’s wrong, and it comes as no surprise to hear that transphobia (which most of you peddle right here) will eventually push people towards other kinds of hate.

Take a long hard look at yourselves. I’m a transgender woman, a mum, and I hope at least some of you are seriously thinking about what kind of person you want to be.

Camp Coffee is very sweet with a slightly "already gone off" taste, it kicks the back of your throat when you swallow it and makes your boots really shiny if you throw it back up.

As we’ve circled right back around to camp coffee (is this what circling the wagons looks like these days?), I feel I can interject to say I’ve put a SodaStream in my Amazon basket and it’s all the fault of this thread :)

Interestingly, this thread reads quite well backwards, as I’ve been flicking backwards trying to follow what’s been happening since I last posted. I suspect it might read better backwards than forwards, due to some of the um, interesting arguments and assertions put forwards by a vocal minority

I love Sodastream, we could never afford one, but I had a friend with one "cola coloured carbonated water cartridges" and when they run out, fizzy milk....
At least until the cartridges run out then it's useless.

On a serious note I personally was not happy with the Soda stream. We had one when the kids were little and it was misplaced (probably thrown out in a cleaning frenzy). We decided to get a new one and it really doesn’t function as well. Needs a lot more pumps to aerate well.

Oh now I’m torn, I too want a SodaStream to fill that childhood longing of our family not being able to afford one, but I do want one that actually works! Perhaps that’s why they are on sale.

(But hey look, what a good exemplar of women having diffferent views and opinions, and yet still coming together over one common idea, such as, um, SodaStream... or something just as minor and trivial like the rights of womanhood).

I am sure you are very concerned about us not being listened to and being written off as bigots (though lets be honest, it takes as little as saying people with penises are men these days) and thanks for the concern. As it happens, people with views that go against TRAs will be declared bigots anyway, and there seems to be a lot more people peaking than going the otherway. Infact, I have only ever seen one person claim to have been 'fully GC' but then apparently switched their entire view because one or two feminists were not all that nice on a thread. The shame!

Sad to join Dana in reporting that our modern SodaStream is v disappointing. It leaks and uses tons of gas. But is just as fun as in the 80s

It's a shame to hear the historical Sodastream revival of 2018 was played by poor machines.
PepsiCo now own the company, I suspect they are to blame. Too much home manufactoring of slightly fizzy style cola water drinks could put them out of business.

When I were a lad it wasn't a Sodastream that was my dream Christmas gift, it was a Mr Frosty.

Had I got one I'd probably have gone off the half-melted lolly ices after about two seconds but the fact I didn't means that, even now, I'm prone to the occasional pang of regret for my Frosty-free yuletides.

My sister had one, it was not easy to use:
