Politician Morgane Oger leans on Vancouver police to look into alleged crimes by Meghan Murphy et al

Oger believes it both a human rights violation and a literal crime to disagree publicly with the "trans women are women" mantra.

Oger is seeking a meeting with Vancouver police to outline Oger's view that feminists gathering to discuss a range of issues facing women (and streaming it on the internet) is tantamount to cyberbullying driving people to suicide.

It's a typical DARVO reversal. It's worth paying attention to the singular way in which TRAs phrase these things and how they will do it even if it sounds completely absurd and doesn't even make sense.

Although if Canada defines woman as ‘anyone who says they are’ and oger uses the BC human rights panel things (which are a mess) then Oger may win.

Meghan Murphy is a brave woman. As in a brave adult human female.

Oger, for those who don’t know, is the one who almost bankrupted Vancouver rape relief. Shares a mailing address with A certain Canadian person who enjoys thoughts of women’s toilets, tampons and ten year old girls. I do wonder what the link between them is, if any?

Oger has a current complaint in the Human Rights Tribunal against right-wing Christian activist Bill Whatcott:

Whatcott had walked out of the tribunal hearing, where a panel will determine whether his distribution of flyers during Oger’s 2017 run for MLA was in violation of her human rights.

According to court documents, the flyers contained statements that described Oger as a “biological male who has renamed himself … after he embraced a transvestite lifestyle.”

Oger, now the vice-president of the BC NDP, submitted a complaint against Whatcott under Section 7 of the B.C. Human Rights Code, which bans the publication of discriminatory statements that could expose protected persons to hatred.

Whatcott does not contest that he distributed the flyers and said in an interview that any costs incurred from the hearing would be “worth it.”

“It’s about free speech, freedom of conscience and freedom to say what is true,” he told StarMetro.

It means something randomly determined. So something you can analyse statistically but not predict. Brownian motion is a good example.

If I were Meghan Murphy I think I would actively try to move away from Canada. It must be hell being one of the tiny minority of clear-eyed people in a place like that. They are going to start imprisoning feminists with the next few years. I’m sure of it.

I'll chalk it up in my big book of nonsensical pseudy hyperbole with "epistemic violence" which is disagreeing with trans people or in the case of Lindsay Shepherd in Canada (spot the connection?) failing to present in a suitably critical way a person who disagrees with trans people.
