I know somone who’s intact male window cleaner genuinely believes he is a lesbian. He dresses as a woman some days of the week, not all. When he does he uses women’s loos etc. But he also says he enjoys getting loads of sex from heterosexual women. In fact he says he now gets a lot more action Because “they love it.” Don’t think he is claiming to have had any lesbian action yet. It’s the fact that he claims to be a lesbian. Why is he not just a cross dressing hetro man?

This person exemplifies this sort of delusional and twisted attention-seeking, however.

Let me get this straight. Dislikes their own vagina, only dates boys BUT the rest of us with our genital preferences are transphobic? Wouldn't his own self-hatred and preference make him transphobic as well?

I know gay men who I know full well don’t like fanny, in fact they are positively repulsed by it, yet they happily chant the TWAW and TMAM mantra. Maybe if these gay men stopped telling lies people like the poster in the OP wouldn’t be in such a mess. That goes for some lesbians I know too. They know full well what men and women are and they know very well they’re homosexual. What they are doing isn’t kind, it’s damaging peoples’ mental health and their lives, and it’s damaging their fellow gay men and lesbians.

It's taken a while but now gay men, not just gay women are being called out on their genital fetishes.

One thing this does show is that counselling/gatekeeping should be compulsory before being prescribed hormones or surgery. Understanding the consequences of believing you will become a 'lesbian' transwoman or a 'gay' transman might save a lot of heartache further down the line.

The effort of trying to justify an entirely sane position that shouldn't need justifying to someone who is arguing a completely insane position is utterly exhausting.

It wouldn't be so bad if it was just one insane person. But they seem to be everywhere - in government, in newspapers, on the tv. The whole world is full of people insisting that the parrot isn't dead, it's just shagged out after a long squawk.
