Whatever her views, senior politicians (which is presumably what she aspires to be) are usually more skillful at not alienating constituents.

On Woman's hour she said parents should not be told if their child says they are trans at school. She doesn't appear to think safeguarding is relevant to this situation.

She taught at Southbank International School which had a major safeguarding problem not too many years back. (A member of staff turned out have been previously convicted of sex offenses in the US.) It is surprising she seems so blase.
