Now “not all tweets by Lily”, are they allowed to just make stuff up with no comebacks?

It's just so unfair and rude. For all we know, this parcel guy might be a really sweet, older, sensitive guy - might even be caring for his wife or have things in his personal life to worry about. We don't know. And he is going to be subjected to a complaint and accusations of "transphobia".

Surely the simple response to people assuming you are male or female when you think you are not, is just to correct them. In the case of Aimee above, Aimee would reply that they don't sound like a 'miss' because they are trans and LM would say yes but I am trans. Simples. No fun if you want to cause trouble and sue people though is it?

Just change the announcement to “Ladies, gentlemen and those who are pretending not to know which they are”. Everyone will be happy with that, yeah?

Lm would hate our local post office. You have to official photograph ID such as a passport (which I believe LM doesn't have) or a driving licence in order to pick up a parcel. They're very strict. I asked once what would be acceptable if you had neither and they said a birth certificate.

Madigan does have a passport though - they started tweeting about it saying "je suis une femme".

They said they have a GRC, then said they didn't. (This was around the time they were saying that they could get pregnant and wanted to be a mother. When they were talking about a womb transplant. When they were saying they wanted "a little gal" one day.

I guess because you need a full mental-health check-up before a GRC is issued is the reason either Madigan hasn't bothered to apply or they got rejected. Who knows.

This one perplexed me as Aimee Challenor had obviously chosen to use the title 'Miss' (as Lily Madigan does) so one could imagine that AC might like the 'ladies' part of the announcement.

I'm sure AC will have said at they time they were standing up for their non-binary family (who are real and valid) but the link between AC's complaint and the outcome seemed curious.

I don't think they bothered. Cos how would they keep plugging the course about how badly trans people are treated, how hard it all is, how spouses can veto it etc of they had one.

I don't think they ever intend on altering themselves. At all.

Agree. The idea of Madigan or Jones as compassionate and socialist is ludicrous.

And talking of work, it's revealing how Madigan seems never, ever to have had a job.

By the age of 21 most of us have worked, from a Saturday job through to a part-time or full-time employment.

But Madigan seems never to have worked. They plead poverty, and beg for money via PayPal. They go to bars and beg people to buy them drinks. And they beg for clothes.

But an actual job seems never to have occurred to them. If they fear discrimination or "transphobia", why not get a bar job in a gay bar or something. But no. Nothing. Ever.

But still be able to go to America....again

Bloody hell - so much of this is resonating with me and peaking me all over again.

Labour - used to be the working party; grass roots, sticking up for the working class. And the likes of LM never having worked a days graft yet seems to large it up with stamp of Labour Party approval. What utter utter betraying bollocks.

Also, the thought of some poor sod who may not have a clue about current gender politics, who's up to his eyeballs sorting parcels and just wanting to get home, being served with a discrimination allegation and a petition to get sacked. FFS - most folk in my life haven't a clue that this is even a thing and, if I'm completely honest with you all, I'm keeping it that way. It makes me sound like a complete over dramatic tool - this is shit that you can't make up and I'm loathed to send people down that rabbit-hole.

How the HELL does LM think that they are so important? Feelings get hurt on a daily basis - man up and get over yourself. I'm feeling real resentment tbh.

Remember the days when politics was about debating your opponents and finding a way to come to a consensus.

For all the posters who defend Madigan saying that they are being manipulated by Labour - can you not see how poisonous and narcissistic this person is?

Once the party is suitably purged of all the thought criminals there won't be enough members left to win a constituency, let alone a majority. But it'll be a lovely bubble of wokeness and apparently that's more important.

Seriously, I am so DONE with Labour. I've never voted anything else, I even caved last minute in the GE and put my cross in the box for them, but never again till they've sorted themselves the fuck out.

The trans stuff is just the last straw btw - Momentum, Brexit, squabbling...
