I've received a twelve-hour ban from Twitter so I thought I'd take the chance to say hello lovely mumsnetters! Thank you for all the support and kind words and very proud to be on your side.

I'm not deleting the tweets because I stand by them and there's nothing offensive about them. See for thyself, fellow witches!

You cannot tell us our views should not be here. You have no right to censor our speech or our thoughts. My own view is no child should be given puberty blockers. They are considered too young to drive, vote or get married so they are way too young to choose to be infertile and have a lifetime of drug dependence ahead of them. Shame on anyone promoting such an appalling life sentence on young people.

VickyEadie · 17/11/2018 21:05

Father Ted's on More 4 as we speak. It's the one with the hairy hands.

Feminist4 · 17/11/2018 21:11

Ladylauraover - I don't think you have a right to speak for what is best for my daughter. You are clearly not a medical expert. Voting is one thing- it affects the whole country. Transitioning is a personal thing. But I don't want to argue about puberty blockers. I just want the shaming of trans women to stop.

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 17/11/2018 21:12

These views on Mumsnet should not be here.

And that's us told.

My experience of this poster on previous threads doesn't incline me to believe anything F4 says.

Vango · 17/11/2018 21:19

“I don't think anyone who isn't trans can possibly speak about what is right for a trans person. Nobody chooses to be trans, as it is committing yourself to a horrendous life of prejudice, abuse and discrimination.”

I don't think anyone who isn't female can possibly speak about what is right for females. Nobody chooses to be female as it is committing yourself to a life of prejudice, abuse and discrimination.

tarziew · 17/11/2018 21:19

LALALALA! Fingers in ears ignoring the interloper!!

Glinner I hope you have had some reassurance reading some of these stories that you are a much loved and treasured figure in our fight against the trans agenda. We have had a few comments from Ricky Gervais but you are getting stuck in ❤️

Have you fallen out with any friends in real life over this and how have you coped?

Xx

Laniakea · 17/11/2018 21:22

I doubt anyone needs reminding of stonewall's big happy umbrella but just in case here it is.

Teen Vogue's "black menstruators" is another #peaktrans from today, as of course is JY's 10 year old girl/tampon absolutely not a fetish thing.

I reckon Glinner is coming down from the ceiling! Ireland just beat the All Blacks for the second time in history, first time on home soil. I’m picturing him with a Jameson in hand and hoarse from yelling!

littlbrowndog · 17/11/2018 21:29

Yeah go Ireland 😂😂😂🍷🍷🍷🍰🍰
Fecking amazing
See at the en£ when the kiwis were getting closer and closer omg

Bowlofbabelfish · 17/11/2018 21:31

I think most of the experts, though, are in agreement with the trans community. it is the non -experts who are not.

My opinion is that there are people setting up as experts who are effectively experimenting on children. There are a small number of centres with funding from people like Pritzker which are pushing a specific agenda. There are people with some very unpleasant agendas pushing affirmation, lowering age of competence to consent etc. There are people who stand to benefit financially from this as well.

Experts like ray Blanchard are somehow not listened to.

Helen webberly was touted as an expert. She’s just been found guilty of providing an unregistered online medical clinic

Bowlofbabelfish · 17/11/2018 21:32

And apologies for engaging ;) I shall stop

tarziew · 17/11/2018 21:44

I thought I was going to need a defibrillator in the last five minutes of the game. I did look at all the burly rugby players and note that no trans man in their right mind would want to compete in men’s rugby. Funny that 🤔

FermatsTheorem · 17/11/2018 21:47

Go Ireland!

And yes, tarziew, if biological sex doesn't matter in sport the way the Rachel McKinnons of this world would have us believe, how come we aren't seeing lots of transmen on the podium? As you say, funny, that.

littlbrowndog · 17/11/2018 21:48

Beating the kiwis. My day is good
Scotland done great on the South Africans. Omg wish we had won
Complete derailed sorry. 💪💪🍷

FermatsTheorem · 17/11/2018 21:53

The Scotland match was very close! (I'm a fellow Scot, littl!)

tarziew · 17/11/2018 21:57

Just saw Glinner himself on More4. One of my favourite lines in Father Ted! “Shall we not just have a bit of an aul pray?” when the plane is hurtling to the ground.

LondonPainter · 17/11/2018 22:01

JFC @R0wantrees that video! I didn't realise that the idea of trans including cross-dressers, men who feel like women on some days, etc was actively being promoted Confused

Also, some people call their penis their clitoris, some people call their clitoris their penis...it's almost like that video was designed just to peak trans us...Grin

Laceythesheep · 17/11/2018 22:07

I’ve checked. My clitoris is nothing like a penis.

Flooffloof · 17/11/2018 22:11

These views on Mumsnet should not be here

It's as if its your first day on the internet? If so, welcome.

Have I seen you on reddit? Where way worse is posted.
Umm medium?
Oh no somewhere for sure.

LondonPainter Tara Hewitt has significant influence on NHS and Social Care policy. At UHSM (Manchester) TH ammended the single sex accomodation policy eg wards, showers etc to include trans policies.

Tara Hewitt also referred to in the recent Spectator lead article by James Kirkup:
(extract)
"What explains the disproportionate number of girls (child ‘assigned female at birth’, to use the approved term) who are starting a journey that can lead to hormone treatment, then binding and ultimately removing their breasts? Is it possible that this is simply part of a wider crisis of mental health among girls?

I don’t know, and neither do the doctors and scientists who study this issue. If you talk to the clinicians at the Tavistock Clinic in London, the NHS centre for the treatment of gender-variant children, they’ll tell you that all the factors I mentioned may be at work, but the evidence base is still incomplete, that they need more time and data before offering explanations. (They’ll also tell you that quite a lot of the children referred to them as transgender will in time desist – although this is not a term the clinic would use – and decide to live in their original gender.)

The government now intends to commission research into all this. You might think that sounds sensible and mundane. You would be wrong.

According to Tara Hewitt, founder of the Trans Equality Legal Initiative (TELI), prominent campaigner for transgender rights and an adviser to numerous public bodies including the NHS, the proposed research is ‘absurd and offensive’. The project should be ‘dropped in the bin — it’s simply not an inquiry that needs to happen,’ Hewitt reckons.

This is the quintessential trans-rights response to scrutiny: even looking for facts about children’s welfare is transphobic. Just accept that trans girls are girls and trans women are women. End of debate." (continues)

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 17/11/2018 22:14

There's a series of cartoons that are supposed to promote trans children (sorry, can't remember the name of the artist) and in one of them the smug little trans child is telling two other kids that bus penis is just a large clitoris.

This caused me to shout "You try pissing out of your clit!" very loudly at the screen.

littlbrowndog · 17/11/2018 22:17

Omg formats see when the South Africans was down to 14. Yeah let’s go
But we done good
But the Irish 😂😂🍺🍺 awesome

Iused2BanOptimist · 17/11/2018 22:18

I've just had a closer look at the trans umbrella for the first time, thanks Laniakea
I see there's a small place for eunuchs under there. That'll be all the teens who had puberty blockers and went on to a medicalised future from there then. And a tiny droplet 💧 for women, up there on the left. And did anyone ask intersex if they wanted to be included under the umbrella? Mostly they ask not to be co-opted.

Bowlofbabelfish · 17/11/2018 22:18

Anyone actively suppressing independent research needs to be be scrutinised closely.

littlbrowndog · 17/11/2018 22:18

Och f4 pops up now and again and just moans a bit
