Who has peak-transed the most people?

secular111 · 16/11/2018 16:48

I don't often post.

I was peak-transed, not by the actions of any one individual, or a group of them, but rather through political realisation with some of my peers, that the trans agenda - which includes not just transgenderism but also transracialism and transabelism - is nothing more than an extension of White Colonialism on a grand scale, enabling (notably) white heterosexual middle-class Western male culture to impose itself into parts of society otherwise denied access to them, including into the lives of girls (for F2M transitioning) BAME (through transracialism) and lesbian structures, and/or female spaces through transgenderism. Therefore any advocate for the trans-agenda is first-and-foremost in my eyes, an advocate or apologist for racist white imperialism. And that's before we get onto the trans-agenda's inherent misogyny and homophobia!

I do though recognise that a number of individuals have been personally responsible for 'peak-transing' more than their fair share of skeptics.

Who though has managed, involuntarily, to achieve that feat?

The list below isn't authoritative, or in any particular order, so if taking part, please feel free to add any candidates. Perhaps in-the-future a proper statistical study will be performed, and the lucky individual will win a prize, though it's unlikely they'll want to attend the award ceremony!

Guardian for me. Their terrible reporting that was so clearly hiding an agenda - my spidey senses started tingling basically because I'm not a credulous idiot.

Specifically their news report on Lauren Jeska which was intended to promote the ideology but which actually tipped me off to the fact that something very odd was going on.

They are idiots. They've done so much damage to their own cause.

MsMcWoodle · 16/11/2018 16:56

I like this idea. We should def vote and have a prize, but there are too many choices. I need to think.

VickyEadie · 16/11/2018 16:58

Rapey Riley. A friend sent me links and within minutes I was peaked.

As one of the women gays (I've decided no longer to use the word lesbian, because - apparently - it no longer means what I thought it meant) to whom RR was addressing his 'you should get over not wanting PIV sex' talk, RR had me hooting with laughter and then - when I realised he was serious - reaching for my metaphorical pitchfork.

TeenTimesTwo · 16/11/2018 16:59

You haven't got Girl Guides on the list.

UpstartCrow · 16/11/2018 17:02

Stonewall or Pink News with their gay conversion therapy agenda.

PawsomePugFancier · 16/11/2018 17:02

Karen White surely, with Ian Huntly bringing up the rear! They at least deserve a mention (but no invites to anything we might be at)!

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 16/11/2018 17:02

Karen White

NonaGrey · 16/11/2018 17:03

I think lots of the names on your list are very active on Twitter but aren’t particularly visible to the general public.

I know that my DH had mostly just thought I was catastrophising until Rachel McKinnon won the women’s Master Track Cycling World’s.

He’s a club cyclist and cycles with some really great men and women and so the disparity in ability caused by the physical differences between men and women are pretty clear to him.

It’s not about being transphobic, or not wanting to ensure that trans men and women are safe from discrimination and harm. It’s about making sure that one minority doesn’t trample over the rights of another, dismantling safe guarding procedures in the process.

I’m horrified by the recent police suggestion that male officers identifying as women should be allowed to perform intimate searches of women.

Horrified.

I suspect that many other people will be too.

TheMinorityEngineer · 16/11/2018 17:04

Karen White

And chief legal architect

Stephen Whittle

PositiveVibez · 16/11/2018 17:05

Jess Bradley
Comic relief

Budgieinaberet · 16/11/2018 17:12

Liverpool and Leeds Council.
West Yorkshire Police
Most MPs

Melanippe · 16/11/2018 17:17

Owen Jones.
Sarah Brown.

I would also say that the abuse to Miranda Yardley from so many quarters, because Miranda failed to toe the quasi-religious line that vocal TRAs had decided was doctrine.

I think those were the ones who really convinced me that this whole drama had absolutely nothing to do with trans people being able to lead the lives they want, but was more concerned with shutting women up.

TrashyTerf · 16/11/2018 17:18

Caitlyn Jenner, which is a shame because she really is not the worst of them.

ignatiusjreilly · 16/11/2018 17:19

Alex Drummond definitely deserves a place on that list.

MsMcWoodle · 16/11/2018 17:22

Stonewall. Absolutely stonewall. The women hating bastards with their mucky little fingers in every pie.
Also has the beauty of including Aimee Challenor, Sarah Brown and that bloody awful 'expand the bandwidth of womanhood' git with the facial hair.

MsMcWoodle · 16/11/2018 17:23

x post - that is Alex Drummond I think.

HamiltonCork · 16/11/2018 17:24

The BBC should be on the list too.

SongforSal · 16/11/2018 17:30

For me, it was a woman I new. She was a friend, and a lesbian. One day she shared a shitty letter on her social media of a MTF who happened to work for a national newspaper. It was utter shite, all of it. I (maybe rather stupidly) commented that he could not possibly know these things, as he has never been a women, and to comment on the plight of women and menstrual cycles, without ever having that perspective was odd.

Well. I unleashed goodness knows what. I had a dozen vile responses from both MTF and FTM people who called me every unimaginable name you can think of. Even when I apologised and assured these individuals it was not my intention to cause offence, (kicking myself eternally for apologising for pointing out the obvious)it made them worse. My lesbian friend decided to announce she was now a man and gay, and one of her friends who had already gone FTM sent me a private message calling me every phobic name including a fucking cis, and a slag.

So that was nice.

What really shook me, was these trans people were united in a cause, blinkered and angry. Changing the rules, making their own narrative. I wrote an assignment a couple of years back which examined the psychological aspect of this new movement, and it is so tricky to define and examine as it is mostly a sociological phenomenon.

When I asked my friend if she fancied dinner out one night, and we could discuss it so I understood better. She simply said 'No', blocked me from social media and I have never seen her again. Because apparently, and I quote ''You are exactly what's wrong with the world''.

All of that abuse aimed at me, purely because I spoke up regarding a male talking about his imagined menstrual cycle. Sigh.

MrsSteveMcDonald · 16/11/2018 17:36

Dan the Man Muscato

MsMcWoodle · 16/11/2018 17:48

Just seen Graham Linehan's thread about being suspended from Twitter. The Twitter mods deserve a mention for being totally biased and not including 'sex' as a protected category.

Budgieinaberet · 16/11/2018 17:53

The Guardian
ITV
Mermaids
Victoria Derbyshire

Theinconstantgardener · 16/11/2018 17:59

LGBT youth Scotland and James Morton of Scottish Trans alliance for pushing their horrible propagada in our primary schools and insisting scotgov change the word woman in legislation to 'anyone who identifies as female'

TwirlingGoldfish · 16/11/2018 18:09

Another vote for Dave Muscato. Mack Beggs I have sympathy for - has repeatedly asked to compete with the men.

fidgetspinner555 · 16/11/2018 18:12

PeachyYogurt did a funny PeakTrans award video...

FitzChivalryFarseer · 16/11/2018 18:19

‘Danielle’ Muscato and ‘Pips’ Bunce would be up top of my list.

Girlguiding UK would have to be nominated for an organisational award.
