If VS follow through on their capitulation and subsequent bootlicking of the TRA community and send a trans model down the runway, once the men leering over the models realise, things will get interesting quickly.

A good thing, even.

I'd take it as a compliment.

NothingOnTellyAgain · 11/11/2018 15:43

Well, quite Grin

Binglebong · 11/11/2018 16:14

Who knew Dave from the Money Supermarket ad was a vision of the future?

I have no problem at all with Victoria's Secret having transwomen up there. I do have a problem if they are chosen in response to this, rather than on their own tall skinny merit. Simply because I'm fed up of men complaining and things getting done while women complaining gets ignored.

I do think the audience for the runway is mainly male though and I think they will create a backlash.

NothingOnTellyAgain · 11/11/2018 17:33

I read those ads by moneysupermarkt as men taking the piss out of women mainly black women.

That could just be me though. Or maybe there is some context I'm missing (grasps for straws).

Jesus Christ. Don't call her "it", and how exactly did she fake up her two pregnancies, fgs? What an absurd suggestion.

MinecraftHolmes · 11/11/2018 23:25

What the hell are you on about sonixx? Alessandra Ambrosio has given birth to at least two children.

LassWiADelicateAir · 11/11/2018 23:33

There are loads of beautiful pregnancy pictures of Alessandra Ambrosio.

Don't be so bloody stupid and offensive. You have a weird agenda and are being unbelievably sexist by suggesting that because of her body shape she must be a man.

I guess unless you actually witnessed her giving birth you wouldn't believe it, though.

LassWiADelicateAir · 11/11/2018 23:59

I've reported both your posts Sonixx. There are loads of pictures of her pregnant in all sorts of situations including on beaches and in swimsuits / underwear.

You are being stupid and offensive.

Sonixx You are a vile, nasty little person. I don't know what your agenda is.

AssassinatedBeauty · 12/11/2018 00:05

Do you understand that judging a women based on her body shape and what she looks like after giving birth is massively sexist?

I didn't get any (extra) stretch marks from pregnancy, it's down to genetics. And there will be plenty of models who do get stretch marks who quietly retire from modelling once they've had their children, fgs.

There's having a different opinion, and then there's making utterly unfounded allegations.

LassWiADelicateAir · 12/11/2018 00:16

I've just looked at your posting history. Now I'm no fan of Venice Allen's but I see you were posting on another thread that Venice and some Canadian trans activist , trans woman were one and the same person- despite bearing no resemblance at all to each other.

I reported your posts for misgendering. And I think you are trying to stir up trouble.

Sonixx · 12/11/2018 00:28

Maybe some women do have absolutely no changes to their body after giving birth but that certainly wasn't the case for me and the women I know. There's also many posts by women on MN telling of the massive changes to their bodies after giving birth.

AssassinatedBeauty · 12/11/2018 00:37

Yes, and those women would stop modelling. So you will only see the ones who have had minimal changes. Certainly plenty of models have some stretch marks, which are visible when catwalking. Plus for these women it's their job to get back into shape and they will have personal trainers, dieticians etc etc to help them. To decide that they are all men is bizarre and absurd, and offensive, and sexist.

I don't usually support calls for a "hide poster" but in your case Sonixx if it existed I'd gladly use it.

Nasty, nasty posts and lord knows what your agenda is. I'm not gender critical and I rarely post on trans threads but those who are gender critical can do without this kind sort of support.

Are you trying to make gender critical feminists look like idiots?

I'm hiding this thread now so you will be wasting time if you reply.

Just bloody stop it. DM comments are goady bottom feeders who post offensive crap. You spouting it here is beyond stupid.

deepwatersolo · 12/11/2018 01:16

I guess Giselle Bündchen is male, too, then.... oh my.

But the suggestion about taking women out of the objectification equation, by having males take over all roles... you know that in Afghanistan they do that with their Bacha Bazi stuff (they do it because women are even too invisible to openly abuse them as sex objects, though)...
