I once opined that all dogs should be chipped, licenced and trained, hamster on a doghouse thread.

Never again.... never again...

Notmynom · 13/11/2018 08:44

Oh dear, Steph is cross - presumably about the links on here.

Omg the doghouse
Am still scarred mentally
As for baby names
Same

littlbrowndog · 13/11/2018 08:46

Nuttersnet
Am scarred now.

KatVonGulag · 13/11/2018 08:47

It all reminds me of the Canadian waxing scandal.... someone making vexatious claims.

Imagine dead naming becomes illegal. Imagine.

Shudder

Bowlofbabelfish · 13/11/2018 08:48

Do we need sorting Steph?

How exactly do we ‘need sorting?’

Do clarify, for those of us for whom ‘you need sorting out’ has been the precursor to being physically harmed in the past.

Maybe Steph is going to Putter us in our place?

MrsBertBibby · 13/11/2018 08:50

Baby names is properly crazy.

"This name. Nice or awful?"

"Awful"

"HOW DARE YOU INSULT MY POTENTIAL BABY NAME?"

RedToothBrush · 13/11/2018 08:52

Is it in the public interest to know the legal names of individuals and criminal background of individuals who try and say free speech of women's rights is a criminal act? Someone who has deliberately made themselves into a leadership and public facing figure and is known as a trans woman in this capacity. How do we hold them to account if we can not discuss inconvent truths?

Do women have the right to understand a pattern of violence and intimidatory behavior?

Sounds like a fascinating legal case. I'm guessing we will see it go to the Supreme Court with the media and social media on one side and political parties of all colours on the other.

Every person with a dubious past or wants to lobby or campaign or become a politician should definitely become trans if Stephanie wins. Can you imagine?

Cos let's face it it's just about liberalism v authoritirianism. And women and women's rights and women's voices represent liberalism in its most basic form.

Sigh.

Can we just get this case over with please? It is long over due.

Then maybe we can have some sanity and peace.

KatVonGulag · 13/11/2018 08:53

If I went down the police station to complain about some of the things said about me online I'm sure I wouldn't get very far.
But they'll be afraid enough of Steph I think not to give them the short shift they deserve.

Dead naming equals hate crime?

I feel harassed by twitter allowing this. Shall we sue?

FekkoThePenguin · 13/11/2018 08:55

Who What now?

Ffs - some demented loon threatened me on here yonks ago (I was joking) thinking that I would be intimidated because she was in Northern Ireland (ha! Glaswegian, trumped yabass). I laughed. Other posters told her off and reported her.

No lawyers, police officers or horses were involved.

AngryAttackKittens · 13/11/2018 08:55

There needs to be a test case, and it needs extensive media coverage.

I know which side I think the public is likely to come down on.

KatVonGulag · 13/11/2018 08:55

Agreed redtoothbrush

Bowlofbabelfish · 13/11/2018 08:55

But they'll be afraid enough of Steph I think not to give them the short shift they deserve.

They should ask themselves WHY if they are afraid. What is making them afraid of this person?

RedToothBrush · 13/11/2018 08:56

Yes let's sue twitter for allowing people to talk and be nasty to women. I'm triggered by Donnie. He threatens my very existence. He might well start a nuclear war via twitter.

LillyoftheCentralValley · 13/11/2018 08:57

Oh wow, that's a hoot.

It's not your job to fix the Internet, Steph. Wink

AngryAttackKittens · 13/11/2018 08:58

At the very least Donnie needs a Twitter curfew - no tweeting after his handlers have gone to sleep.

littlbrowndog · 13/11/2018 08:58

It’s the same old stuff
Shut up women. Shut up
If you don’t I will make you however I can
But we don’t shut up

whatsthecomingoverthehill · 13/11/2018 09:00

I'm curious as to what confidential information has been released about her. As far as I can see, everything posted has been readily available, and comes from government sources.

Whilst we're at it, what is the law on registering companies and not declaring former names used?

littlbrowndog · 13/11/2018 09:00

Jeez kittens
You will make the Donald sad
He will be off to the fbi and CIA to report you

LangCleg · 13/11/2018 09:00

certain vegetables scare the shit out of me

OMG! A vegetable-phobe. Get thee behind me!

heresyandwitchcraft · 13/11/2018 09:01

But we don’t shut up

Amen.

AngryAttackKittens · 13/11/2018 09:01

I'd take his burgers away too, because if he dies in office then Pence takes over and that might be even worse*. Vicious I am!

*On the plus side Pence probably wouldn't start WW3.

RedToothBrush · 13/11/2018 09:03

Why is Stephanie trying to intimidate Mumsnetters for speaking the truth?

Why do so many people have a problem with the truth in 2018?

I want my Orwell fiction back. I don't like Orwell faction.

AngryAttackKittens · 13/11/2018 09:04

2018 is more of an Orwell/Brave New World mash-up, with disconcerting hints of the Cultural Revolution thrown in.

madmum5811 · 13/11/2018 09:06

Thinking of comments sections in the media e.g. The daily mail who print some doozies should the Kardashians Simon Cowell, royals etc. Sue the paper because they see comments they deem offensive?
