Ime "Steph"is not a person who has come on the Feminist boards of MN to debate or disagree for a genuine reason.
This is someone with violent criminal convictions, who stalks women expressing feminist views on the internet, and threatens them in various ways. Their misogyny is evident.
This is a person who has multiple names, personas, and failed organisations in their wake.
This is a person who only recently, we find, has cloaked themselves in a protected characteristic. That is a disgraceful sham, and an insult particularly to the respected members of this forum who happen to be trans.
I've never seen a cogent argument from a.k.a on here, just nasty threats directed at individuals, some of whom have complaints in to the GMC. The behaviour of this individual has been to unsuccessfully intimidate and frighten women, whom I have never met, into withdrawing a genuine complaint about a GP before the General Medical Council. Why, one can only speculate, but I am guessing there is a financial reason somewhere. Some of us may not remain on the boards, that is up to MNHQ. It does not mean that we disappear from organising against those who exploit others for their own ends.
Whatever MN as an organisation decides to do next, rest assured that "Steph" is running out of road.
"Steph" will never be able to have a genuine legal practice as the rest of us understand one to be. "Steph" will always have to reveal their past in a DRB check.
"Steph" put "Steph" into the social commentary arena, no one else. The fact that their personas and failed businesses and convictions trail behind them is no ones fault but their own.
