Is it me, or does this just smack of men telling women what to do, in a rather “1950s guide to being a housewife” kind of way?

Be kind, courteous, patient and caring with people! Smile! [what does this have to do with trans issues?]
Apologise! [for being female]
Think about how privileged and entitled you are! [when it comes to accessing female spaces]
Think about inclusion! [affirm trans people at work and socially]
Physically protect trans women at risk of violence! [um?]

Well I've fixed one bit.

Sort of reminds me of this

"recognise the ways that being cisgender allows you to access washrooms, healthcare or transcripts with ease".

Yes Merrymouse trans are literally the centre of the universe aren't they. No one else can be having any kind of difficulty at all.

And of course that statement will be even less true for women if self IDing males are IDing into our spaces. Grr.

It is sickening how they take what could probably started out as advice on understanding how to support disabled and mentally ill people, many of whom who genuinely and seriously need advocates not just allies, and twist it for their unhealthy purposes.

We are being subjected to relentless grooming.

A very prominent Instagrammer with 1 million followers posts a lot of stuff along these lines. She has panics that she hasn't been inclusive enough despite regularly informing her followers that some women have penises. It's just this endless stream of posts apologizing and bowing and scraping and wrapping herself up in knots trying to be inclusive in 1001 ways and it's exhausting and depressing seeing a woman dismantle all her boundaries and put herself below everyone else

I’m thinking in genetics terms which is most amusing #crapsciencejokes but I guess they don’t mean that. What do they mean by transcripts?

Bowl, prescriptions, perhaps? Is it s healthcare reference? Just guessing, i don't know.

I wondered what they mean by transcripts too. Mind you, they do live in a replication bubble (crap DNA joke!)

Being cisgender doesn't allow me to access male "washrooms" with ease at all.

Yeah an Alliance is a reciprocal relationship where both states benefit being allied to one another, what the TRAs want us to be is a Tributary State.

Why has there never been this kind of shit in any other movement? All this 'ally' bollocks, I have never seen it to this extend from ethnic minorities, gay people or disabled people?

And the women who just suck it up, what are they thinking?

I have never seen men talking this way about how to be effective allies to women.

Seems to have come from this charity in Canada. I have just read their history and it seems to be a bit like Stonewall, as in moving over from the LGB to include the T and the rest.
