Reading accounts of the murder, Naomi Hersi doesn't seem to have been murdered because she was trans specifically. It could have happened to anyone who spent days having sex and taking drugs with this very violent man.

It's like the murders of trans sex workers. They're murdered because they are sex workers rather than because they're trans. Women sex workers are still more likely to be murdered than men in sex work who identify as women.

Tatchell' comment on Georgina Baillie was that Ross and Brand "cracked a blue gag".

As I recall (and I recall very well), they left messages on her grandfather's answerphone describing what Brand had done to her.
