It's a bit long, but not as bad as the GRA one. And the Transgender Trend guidance is a useful starting point.

Just to say that I managed make good use of my work travel today and to submit my consultation about 3 hrs ago and it was far longer than I had intended.

Me too! Squeaked in at the last second and had to miss a few questions at the end. I thought it stopped at the general question about comments on the guidance and then realised there were a load more after that! Now reading everyone's comments here and going "damn I wish I'd added that as well" to lots of them, typical

It really was very....wet though wasn't it (the proposed guidance I mean). When you consider some of the hair-raising stories that have been in the news in the last couple of years, about assaults in schools, boys' and girls' expectations about sex and so on, which weren't really addressed at all. I did mention the article (though can't remember where it was from) which said that teenagers were now seeing anal sex as normal/expected due to porn - and also reminded them of why the Samaritans was founded and that surely by 2018 we could do better for young girls starting their periods?

I found the jumping about with the numbers confusion tho' this was easy to save and reload than the GRA consultation or the foul/relatively instructed EqA comments.
