Sorry if this has already been posted but I saw this from Herts Police FFS!

They are asking for victims of historic sexual abuse to come forward, yet colluding in the fallacy that this man is female

As soon as he raped someone with his penis, he lost any right to call himself a trans woman.

He has the protected characteristic of gender resssignment so therefore is a transwoman. Committing rape does not currently have any bearing on this.

I think the reason it's so... I can't even describe... is that it's just more gaslighting where I'm compelled to believe that up is down, rape is love, penis is female, a woman can rape someone with her penis.

No. Reality is actually a thing and I'm entitled to it; instead of pandering once again to the delusions of a rapist, to the point where I'm supposed to believe HIS version instead of my own. just no. WOMEN DON'T HAVE PENISES.

This is about who gets to define reality. If this bozo gets to tell me that I'm supposed to pretend that his penis is female, then he has all the power, over me, over you, over everybody. You see, I feel bad for Herts Police with things like this. They're damned if they do and damned if they don't.

I actually think that they may be crying out for help here. Until people wake up, they have to follow the rules

This is abuse. How must his victim feel? It turns my stomach.

Re screen readers: On Facebook using voiceover, which is Apples software, which is the most common, it reads the text, and pictures have a very rough description. So, ’person, nature, outdoor,’ or ’two people, food.’ It doesn’t say man or woman. I suppose that would be transphobic.

Precisely that. When I was 20 I was sexually assaulted by an optician who after an eye test and before I could get out of the (locked) door, pushed me up against the wall and had his hands up my t-shirt and inside my bra. I was totally shocked - when I told my (male) boss what had happened he laughed it off saying "you should be so lucky".

I will never forget that man's name. He also worked as a consultant at one of the top eye hospitals. Would I report the incident if the police were asking for historical abuse victims to come forward - you bet I would. But - if he now self id's as a woman, what chance is there that I would make the connection between some 'female' optician called 'Jane Doe' and the man who assaulted me?
