Congratulations to Gill.
In amongst this, what I've found yet again fascinating is the words used by trans-activists.
Some of the Lewisham mob have used the term vile transphobic abuse that was apparently aimed at Lily and Lily's supporters.
Repeated, again and again.
But all I have seen, and I've been watching closely (including the stuff that's quickly hidden on the Lewisham Momentum page as being 'abusive', ie 'not fully behind Lily as a candidate), is women, and some men, calmly questioning why a biological male, recently moved to the local area, is the right choice to encourage local women to become more involved in Labour politics.
No 'vileness' unless:-
Vile abuse now seems to = women calmly questioning dogma.
Vile abuse now seems to = women calmly asking questions when they don't feel comfortable with a political point of view
Vile abuse = women calmly concerned that the 'transwoman' perspective is somehow more important than the 'woman' experience
Vile abuse now seems to = women speaking out of turn.
I've witnessed truly vile transphobic abuse on other areas of social media, usually doled out by males. These truly abusive, harmful words are usually ignored and rarely challenged by trans activists. (I'm being kind, to be honest, the threads I've seen with really properly awful transphobia from men are tumbleweed from the trans activists)
Strangely, those who are really being vile are not the audience that trans activisits choose to try to shame, hound, dox, force out of jobs, spaces, etc.
