Is non binary about gender roles not sex?

I am so thoroughly confused. I am a biological female, yesterday I bled the radiators, re pressurised the boiler and watch tv when my biological male partner but the toddler to bed. This is non binary?

Never too early to start Laundry! I also found the horribly gendered toy adverts on TV useful to point out to mine. Boys toys about adventure, science, being physically active and muddy. Girls toys based around looking 'pretty', looking after sick animals and babies. We had our own in jokes about how ridiculous they were. You don't even have to watch much TV but when they're little it's all short episodes of things so adverts every 10 - 15 minutes, bombarding children with notions about what girls are and what boys are. Nauseating.

I have no idea how their proclamations translate into actual ways of being when they're home alone eating cheese and biscuits on the sofa.

Of course she can wear a skirt if she wants to but on this occasion the only one she had would have ripped to bits in a few minutes and the rest were in the wash. The conversation of interest was her perception that jeans, trousers, are gendered.

My point being this idea of gendered this and that is being spoon fed to kids from an early age and they police one another about it. No wonder they sometimes get confused.

Way to go drip feeding. You didn't say any of that. You just made a blanket statement about trousers being suitable and you were refusing to let her wear a skirt.
