Who shall we pick for breeding stock come The Revolution?

When we do actually achieve our stated aim as the overthrow of women from male domination who will we allow to procreate?

Because, I really don't think we'll need all these men anymore. They invented them sex robots so we can just get them to do the dirty jobs like opening jars. We will need to keep a few around, for the perpetuation of the human race and that.

I like Tom Hardy and he looks ever so fetching in a Muzzle.

We might need some more brains though I would of suggested Stephen Fry but it appears he is a massive bell-end.

What characteristics are we looking to breed into the race in our post-man feminist cult (I mean Utopia!)

Tartle · 18/09/2018 22:41

Malay be we need to look into cloning DJ?

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 18/09/2018 22:51

Can I bring David Chang? I don't know much about him but he can obviously cook (momofuko, Michelin stars) and gives good netflix.

SwordToFlamethrower · 18/09/2018 22:54

Could we clone Freddie Mercury please. He can sing for us in a lovely golden cage.

BeyondAnOmnishambles · 18/09/2018 23:21

Tim minchin. Clever, beautiful, and pro-woman

EarlyModernParent · 18/09/2018 23:25

Brains and looks: I bags academic and writer Caryl Phillips.

I don't want to come over all Mod-ish and thread policey but I have to say I'm not convinced by the proposed breeding from either dead people or fictional people. It just makes it all seem like frivolous messing about.

OTOH Aragorn.

EarlyModernParent · 18/09/2018 23:36

Oh, also Anthony Joshua and Kel Brook for the weekends. Caryl will be busy writing.

I don't think you're taking this seriously Roger this isn't a joke.

We all know Richard Rahl is the only fictional hero worth breeding with...

Keanu and James Norton, I know I’m greedy!

ABitCrapper · 18/09/2018 23:58

Brian Cox and John Finnemore for me please. One at a time though, obvs Wink

tabulahrasa · 19/09/2018 00:04

Um, are likes women or being a massive bellend hereditary? Because I’m not sure they are tbh and so not something that needs to be factored into breeding stock, surely?

ALittleBitofVitriol · 19/09/2018 00:21

You ladies who said Duchovny and Goldblum are my sister spirits. Nice. I just finished watching The Night Manager and reckon Hiddleston is worth a mention... just sayin'...

OlennasWimple · 19/09/2018 01:02

If we are reanimating people, can we have Terry Pratchet and Geoffrey Chaucer along for literary entertainment please? Those sort of writing skills deserve to be passed on to the future generations of post-Revolutioneers

BettyDuMonde · 19/09/2018 01:09

Can we have Matthew Gray Gubler please (Dr Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds)?

He’s my favourite celeb-on-Instagram

Sohardtochooseausername · 19/09/2018 01:13

Has anyone mentioned Barack Obama? IMO he has it all: looks, grace, humour, brains... and he’s nice to his wife and children.

HeyMicky · 19/09/2018 09:18

Cusack. I forgot John Cusack

EarlyModernParent · 21/09/2018 09:09

Obama, good choice!
Matthew Grey Gubler had surprisingly good legs.

EarlyModernParent · 21/09/2018 09:09

Has! I assume he's still got them.

BagelGoesWalking · 21/09/2018 09:28

YY to John Finnemore, he is a genius and lovely Roger Allam too, if only for the gorgeous voice.

Can I include selected cast members of the Last Kingdom. Hot, strong and definitely good breeding stock. Used to quick tumbles in the hay and no need to actually live win them and pick up their underpants. 😬
Tim Rozon in Doc Holliday mode (Wynonna Earp).
David Boreanaz - good sense of humour and still hot.

Bagel, come The Revolution, they'll be picking up our underpants!

MsMcWoodle · 21/09/2018 09:39

Idris and Ryan Gosling. All for me and I'll fight the rest of you.
Like the idea of the reserve for Graham Linehan. Should open it up for Tom Farr Daniel Blake, James Kirkup etc.
Apart from that, I think we should allow ourselves to die out really.
