What point are you trying to prove?

the point is I am absolutely 100% female woman, but don't recognise myself at all in any of the definitions of "woman" that re floating around the internet these days

I am a mother, have given birth, breast fed, dealt with decades of heavy monthly bleeding, am physically weaker than men, have sacrificed my career to raising children

I don't wear feminine clothes or make up, or style my hair, or posses a uterus or ovaries ( any longer)

I am middle aged, sporty, not particularly houseproud, never had any interest in my appearance, independent, love my family and friends and job and am a perfectly happy slob

and am 100% woman

yes, I knew after I'd written it! and to be fair, some of my shorts do have pockets ( the men's ones which I buy because they are so much cheaper....)

I think some here are missing the OP's point and getting a bit angry. If I understand, she was trying to say that many questions related to "gender" don't relate to her sex - i.e. gender is therefore not how we define women

If I was interested in playing this guessing game I'd just ask if you're male or female (against the rules - I know).
As I'm not remotely interested because a) I'm in my own living room and you're not here therefore, if you're male, you're not a threat and b) it's late, I'm tired and can't be arsed I'd just say you are a person.
