I was just flicking through Facebook and saw this post from a friend. I'm not sure which bit offended me most but the "submissive" was possibly the winner there although so many good contenders. It was also the bit about finding a man as though we are incomplete without one. Personally I've never felt better since being without one! Happy to be told I'm being ridiculous but it's really got me thinking about how this stuff is constantly fed to society as a whole. There's probably male equivalent ones but I never see any male friends posting them.

It is boilerplate propaganda that used to run in magazines and newspapers quarterly ever since women got the vote. Now they put it on social media because newspapers and magazines don't have the audience they used to.
