He would do well to remember that some of his colleagues including doctors senior to him are Mumsnetters and don’t like what he has to say very much.

Oh it’s just another way of trying to minimise us and shows how they look down on and sneer at women. Trying to reduce us to being an adjunct of something more important, so we are wives, mothers, home makers.

Well actually we are doctors, lawyers, academics, business women, teachers as well as many, many other equally important jobs. And more importantly regardless of what career we may or may not have we are women.

The TRAs on Twitter are in the biggest echo chamber going because the majority of them block anyone who is vaguely feminist. I’ve never posted anything remotely TERFy on twitter but do follow people such as DrRadFem and am on the block list.

Well, obviously, as you're in your 50s, you qualify for re-education and enlightenment at the gulag.

It's a rigorous process, but, with luck, you'll have the physical, emotional, and cognitive resilience to be able to absorb and then enact everything instilled into you. Amazing how many of these people so easily let slip how much they loathe women who are over 40, mothers or "home-makers". The ease with which it slips out, as though it's a given that everyone else shares the same sneering disdain for these sub-human larvae that have given birth to other humans and dare to live beyond the age of 39 while preventing a household from descending into squalor and chaos.

What is it that has created that hatred? It's so widespread, so weirdly acceptable, that women also buy into it, rolling their eyes at the mention of "school run mummies" or someone having to stay off work to care for a sick child. As a society we really are conditioned to despise women.

That last post almost reads like you've been hacked.

I've noticed something a bit odd about his twitter; he has a lot of followers (about 5k), yet he hardly ever has more than 5 'likes' on any of his posts. That just seems really weird, especially for pro trans posts as they normally have the full support of all other trans people and activists. I wonder if he's as unpopular with them? (He does come across as particularly unlikable.)
