It's a bastard of a commute from Sunderland (where he's doing his GP training) to Merseyside, where he alleges he's working as and A&E doctor. Which suggests that, he's either not able to gain locum shifts at any of the many hospitals in the NE, for reasons I couldn't possibly speculate on. Or he's talking out of his arse again.

You're right, Melanippe - it's a long commute from Sunderland to Merseyside. I think with GP training you have to spend fixed periods of time in different workplaces, don't you? So 18 months in GP practices and 18 months in hospitals, including A&E. What I don't know is how much choice you get over where you're sent, or whether you're assigned an employer.

Its bollocks that feminists don't care about male guards raping female prisoners too. of course feminists care about that. But that doesn't mean we cannot also be very concerned about locking male rapists up with women too for fucks sake. I can't speak for any other feminists obviously, however I would much prefer that male people did not work in female prisons at all. the power imbalance is just so extreme and that sort of job will attract the people who wish to harm women too. Even before all this trans shit took off..I was writing to government and such about males in female prisons, in any capacity. Just because nothing has happened about male guards, this does not mean we should shove another lot of male people in with the females.

Think about how that argument goes. If women prisoners get raped by male guards then there isn't so much wrongness added that they might also get raped by transwomen.
