Apologies if this has been shared before but I was on Youtube and this video appeared in my recommended:

I thought the content might interest a few of you, but more interestingly perhaps the comments underneath the video. I am quite surprised that viewers seem to view the video so negatively and have really taken offence about her take on femininity and pregnancy.

The thing that surprises me is the comments are pretty scathing. Obviously even GiGi's audience are questioning this, especially the bit about being more of a woman than biological women.

I only speed-watched this, skipping through some bits because she is so long-winded and self-absorbed, but as far as I understood things:

  1. She is a transwoman who has been taking hormones but has retained male sex organs
  2. Her partner is a biologically a woman who is a lesbian and Gigi seems to also self-identify as lesbian e.g. with the 'Best Lesbian' mug Hmm BUT...
  3. They have been having old-school, PIV sex but not timing it in order to get pregnant so now they want to freeze their sperm and eggs instead so they can 'get pregnant' at some future date.

How does this count as a lesbian relationship? There is literally nothing lesbian about a biological male having PIV intercourse with a biological female. Am I just out of touch with how young folk these days are fucking? I guess it is now officially transphobic to even suggest that a penis penetrating a vagina does not constitute lesbian sexual relations.

Total madness.

Yes so much of this appeared to be focused on appearance. Looking like a woman, passing as a woman and then not being able to be pregnant and look the most feminine.

I find myself often wondering what will happen when these vain —appearance obsessed people get older? how will they cope with aging when their whole sense of being appears to revolve around stereotypical porn star looks?

What strikes me is that there is no difference between Gigi's vanity and self-obsession than the many actual women who are seeking surgery to attain some 'ideal'(sexy doll) of female beauty. The kinds of 'ideal' that sane women are rejecting. It's incredibly retrograde. It's symptomatic of narcissism

Gigi is from somewhere like LA. If you've ever watched any crap TV, like I have, there's little to choose between a rich middle-aged women who's has a fuck-tonne of cosmetic surgery, and GIGI

When I wanted a baby, o would not have accepted my partner not going back for the appointment (that would hurt.

I am sure it is hard but Gigi is being selfish, especially considering the female's role in this is mich harder.

Damn you all. This is really serious and I fell down a total Nats And GiGi rabbit hole. The Paris proposal is really quite mesmerisingly horrific and I was just about to go and google to see if these are the same loons whose totally normal greek god wedding or whatever the fuck it was was all over the internet a while ago. And then I realised that Nats is a granddaughter of Jean Paul Getty, and so many things made more sense.

So funny. I honestly think it is phenomenal to watch a person contort themselves into so many different queer identities to try and avoid being a boring old male who is attracted to a biologically born female. Trying to claim they can't have children because they are transgender when in fact there is no biological barrier whatsoever to a person with male genitalia and a person with female genitalia becoming parents (barring any infertility issues).

How desperate is this person for queer street cred? I guess their entire media presence and youtube following is built on their trans woman identity so being heterosexual does throw something of a spanner in the works...
